Nanny On Vacation.....
I dont know about you but I find this totally awesome and would do same if i had a Nanny.....Look at the smile on her face!!!

DeleteSo Lilly simple why aren’t you blaming the son for not paying his mother’s excess luggage, did she not look after his children, her grandchildren? I am a woman married to an only son, if you know how his mum and sisters have turned him to free giver to them only, you will pity my children. I’m just saying I blame my husband for not giving me and my children but spending on his comfortable siblings and mum. Stop shaming fellow women, it’s the men that allow all this crap to take place.

DeleteAlthough ni mater how much money i have, i wouldn't even employ a nanny. I will only do three times a week, work and go. Dont sleep in. I don't have power for nanny troubles abeg. Infact, come only on Saturdays sef. Three times a week too much.
Stella you are a MUMU, just like a lot of Nigerian women, the only thing you owe your domestic staff is their SALARY. You don’t know some of them come armed with jazz that will make you love them and empty your wallet and wardrobe for them, you will just be giving them ‘gifts’ as if dem swear for u. The worst mumu are those that send them to school, my neighbor made this mistake and regrets it till tomorrow, the girl became so arrogant to her, I laughed. I don’t know why some of you women feel guilty when u have maids and you think you must do ‘extra’ for them. You will only get your fingers burnt in the process. Just pay them their salary, that is all you owe them. All this taking maids on vacation and making them feel special when they are not is a complete waste of time. If you want them to feel special then allow them sleep with your husband and be your co-wife. Sentiments kill all of u dia!

DeleteI’ve taken my nanny abroad a couple of times for summer. It’s to help out with the 2 kids but she’s also given shopping money, time to go out and goes on all the fun activities with us.

DeleteEven if you have money , taking yiyr nanny is a big deal .for one, you won't have complete privacy and you're brining someone else into your vacay time. It's not easy to share those moments. It's beautiful that they take them

ReplyDeleteStella you should know some women have taken out the good intention from traveling with their domestic staff and are now doing it for the wrong reasons. It has become a competition among these vain women. Three nannies for three kids. All nannies accompany them for vacations but they don’t extend that courtesy to their parents or siblings they abandon in shoddy bungalows in the village or rough parts of their home states.
Simply put some do this to boost their street cred and are in an unhealthy competition with their friends. Very sad.

ReplyDeleteI only take my nanny if my mom Sister or cousins are busy. I rather take my famliy member, who nanny help? Pay them let them go to there family for there own hoildays taking your nanny on hoilday is not a hoilday for the maid/Nanny. They need rest too, so while you go on vacation send them to them on there own vacation too. Take a famliy member ooo women.
