Boredom Eliminating Post

I know someone who says that everything that happens is a coincidence and that God cannot let Karma exist

74 comments:

  1. Yes karma exist. They say what goes around comes around. Life itself is give and take. So it is a two way thing. Either you are giving or you are receiving. What a man sow is what he will receive. They say pressed down shaking together and running over is what one will receive for doing good. So it is also pressed down, shaking together and runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng over that one will receive for doing bad. In all let us be in the good side and avoid karma. Because karma is a bitch and if karma caught up with anyone that person will regret ever being born.

  2. Simply put, what you sow you will reap. It's the law of nature invariably the law of God. Karma exists for those who believe in it but what goes around comes around

    1. Karma sure exists. Most times i can even control karma in my mind to come quickly...and boom karma has befallen d person.

There's a powerful mind given by our creator to very few persons to be able to control karma ...i dont just know how to put it. But karma is real...especially human controlled karma (in d mind).

      ................................

To the anonymous that typed about when u are thinking about someone it means that person is also thinking about you....You are very correct my dear...I wanted affirming that but i couldn't type that day. My pple its very true!
      ...,............................

I have also noticed there are human beings that are gifted with supernatural abilities; prediction, the ability to read someones mind 100% and his/ her next move, power of instinct etc. Time wont permit me to say all i wanna say.

All humans are equal but some are above humans!
      Scratch that..?!

  3. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Galatians 6:7

In some other scriptures, God made us to understand that when someone repents, the person obtains forgiveness so one will be spared from reaping in some changeable circumstances. The person's sins are on Christ who died for us.

However, the above scripture holds when one sins and is unrepentant. For e.g. If one murders another, another man will murder the person(Gen. 9:6), it could be an accident etc. But then that law will hold.

    1. There is forgiveness if you repent. For whoever confesses his sins and forsakes them shall find mercy (Prov. 21:13).
But in things like an armed robber who got shot and legs amputated, he just reaped his crops.
Repentance does not necessarily change his situation. Same for a girl who got hiv during her fornicating days.
Repentance will save her soul from eternal damnation but her flesh will suffer the consequences for her sins.

    2. That Consequences after forgiveness is Karma.so it does exist.

    3. @Mimi
The consequences were there before the forgiveness. It can still change via miracle; don't forget.
If a person repents, old deeds are passed away (1 Cor. 5:17) but the SCARS may still be there; like in
the case you pointed out. They are SCARS OF A SINFUL LIFE.

      Delete
    4. @Anony, you make valid points. I think there are consequences for what we do, either in this life or the life after. Yes there is forgiveness, but remember that forgiveness doesn't mean the consequences are gone, it means that someone paid the price (Jesus) for them. So there is a price for sin, only that Jesus paid the cost of eternal damnation due to sin. Eternal damnation is taken care of, but temporal punishment remains, which " may be expiated in this world or if not sufficiently expiated here will be exacted in full in purgatory." (Catholic teaching)

Now, remember that Saint Paul suffered the most among the apostles. Now this is New Testament oh- he was fully forgiven, but some suffering was necessary to purge his sins of attacking the church and attacking Christ. He prayed thrice for it to be removed but God instead gave him sufficient grace to bear it. So was it with Moses who was denied entrance to see the promised land, and David whose household faced chaos and multiple deaths cos of his sin. They were forgiven yes, but God deemed that purging necessary. With repentance, any suffering due to sin will be redemptive suffering. So yes there is repentance, but that doesn't mean we should sin anyhow because of grace.

  6. Yes!!! There is a reward for every deed done by man to man on planet earth. One thing I discovered about people from this part of Africa is that, they only want to hear what is pleasant to their hearing.

People hate when you tell them the truth about life happenstance. This has even gotten to the church that clergies only tell their congregant what makes them happy and what they only want to hear. No body talks about people reaping the fruit of their deed.

"Whatsoever a man soweth, that he will definitely reap." It may only take time but surely there are days of reckoning when the law of nature will take its course.

  7. I don't think karma exists. Good and bad people go through good and bad experiences all the time.
It's our vengeful nature that label certain bad experiences karma.

    1. it depends on how you define good.. to me good is not just about what the person portrays outward but what is inherent.. sometimes negative things happen to GOOD people as a result of the seeds their parents sowed

What is it called when you suffer for something you know absolutely nothing about? Are you saying you don't know any bad parent whose children are having a ball in life? what of the woman who got married as a virgin and the husband is a dog? Nothing like karma in life, absolutely nothing.

    4. There can't be any karma for him when he was not your husband. There is no claim on a person who was never your spouse. As hurtful as broken relationships and engagements are, you have to let it go. In front of God and man, you both were NEVER married. Every human being has the free will to choose who they want as spouse, and if they don't choose you, learn to unchoose them as well and find someone else or be single and be dignified. I find it appalling that people pray for karma on someone for what? Not loving them back, breaking up with them, marrying someone else...arrgh come on.

    5. Tobie! Breaking up with her might not be the reason she's expecting karma; she might even be the one who walked away. What if the ex raped her? Stole from her? Refused to repay a loan she gave him? Slept with her friend or something??? Why must you conclude that anon 18:18 is referring to a break up???

    6. You're right that I made some assumptions, and my apologies if the ex did something worse. And that's because most of us feel so hurt at the end of relationships that we wish the worst on our ex-es, it's very human and I've done that in the past as well. Unrequited love hurts but I know better now, and want to teach people the same.

    1. Exactly lady T I'm of the same school of thoughts. Karma mainly visits those who have conscience while those that have seared theirs live life, ball hard and to further rub it in, even outlive the people they oppressed/offended.
So, in my opinion, karma is selective or do I say God has an unusual kind of love for certain people...

  12. Yes there's Karna!!! Big time.
In a twist of faith, something whether good or bad can unravel itself as a repercussion for those actions done before.

You see many people facing crisis, unknown and mysterious challenges, and u wonder why? How come? It may be karma!!!
One has to be careful what u wish for. Because all that glitters in not gold. Many people r not what they seeem. There r demons full among men in this world!
Lies, treachery, manipulations, cruelty, recklessness & evil action impulses full everywhere & some will never go unpunished!!!

  15. Ok, so if karma exists, what did the children who died in the collapsed building in Lagos do to deserve such a painful death or what evil did children amputated or butchered by Fulani herdsmen do to deserve their death or trauma??? What good did Buhari do to still remain in power? I think karma primarily comes when we translate into eternity-after death. Everything else appears to be chance and happenstance...

  18. In a modern day widespread meaning of the concept, Karma?   Nope, I don't believe that everyone get their comeuppance in the end.

I have seen too many wicked people succeed, have no guilt, sleep well at night,  live long and have healthy lives.

I have seen too many innocent children starve.. Too many people raped and murdered. Bad politicians and governance take charge and there's no stopping them.

If horrible persons get hurt by their actions,  It's simple cause, effect and poor planning on their part not divine justice.

The world is chaos, harsh and cruel.  There's no justice other than that which we  mete on ourselves.

    1. life and its intricacy...well I see karma as an automatic tool to enforce equilibrium between ones action and its reaction. it doesn't delimit people's success.. these wicked people sees karma as challenges and utilise every options at their disposal whether negative or positive to overcome it..
only after death comes the real judgement

    2. @Emmanuel Simeon Like minds!

It takes a belief in karma for it to exist albeit absolute morality sentencing. If one subconsciously believe they are wrong and feel guilt, then you subconsciously attract some type of punishment to yourself. And that to me is the real Karma.

  22. Karma does not exist. Otherwise I shouldn't be suffering for what I don't know. Even the bible says that bad luck happens to everyone in life. Most of these politicians enjoying life and balling have killed a lot of innocent souls as sacrifice to get to where they are. Why are they not suffering for their evil deeds? When Igbinedion's son died, people said it's karma visiting the father. Hello! Why didn't karma kill the man, render him impotent, sick and bed ridden? He has other kids so he will cry and forget his dead son after a while. So I posit that karma doesn't exist abeg. It's all in our head

Karma exists...it can only be delayed but never canceled.

    2. @18:54
You ended up not quoting the "bible" you meant. The politician that stole who you referenced are not your problem. Every sinner has got an appointed day for judgment; Rev. 21:8, 1 Cor. 6:9, etc.

And Ezekiel 18:1-18 God talks about the children NO LONGER partaking in the sins of their fathers but will be judged according to their own deeds.

  23. Newton's third law is what comes to mind when this question is asked. It was taught to me that, "Every action has an equal or opposite reaction" So yes I believe in reactions for our actions. The call to love each other as we love ourselves is for our own protection in life.

  31. I speak my own karma into existence. You see from a long time ago, I try not to be wicked to people, I make sure I go out of my way to apologise if I mistakenly hurt anyone's feeling unknowingly. So if anyone goes out of their way to be wicked to me or intentionally hurt me, I will speak a return in 1000 folds to the person and it has always worked for me. Don't be mistaken, I'm no saint but I'm a very compassionate and kindhearted person even when I try to form hard woman. Karma exist and if you mess with a person who knows how to use the power of his/her tongue it will hunt you and shoot you.
