Monday Spontaneous Post....

Good Morning, its rainy cats and Dogs here and I wish for the Sun...lol

The post of the fate of Children in abusive Marriages will become a series if you have more stories to tell....Please if you have a story that should be stand alone, please send it in,we need to keep telling these stories so that those being abused and those abusing will know the damage they are doing to their Children.....We need to keep talking!!!

BV Ronalda i saw your comment on a post yesterday, congrats on your patter of tiny feet whose arrival took you by surprise and congrats in advance on his second birthday.........
Good to have you back...Kisses!

I have an advice to dish out to some of you,Please do not get angry if you fall into this category!!!!
Please i beg you in the name of God to stop getting pregnant if you do not have the means to take care of the child.stop saying it is God that Blessed you,he will not send you a Blessing that will give you sleepless nights.Plan well so that you will not bring in Children that will suffer more than you did.

If you are a couple or you are just dating, woman,it is your duty to go on the pills or insist on some form of protection. It is so disheartening to be getting several mails from women who say they do not have money to pay for ante-natal or to even buy anything in preparation for the arrival of their babies.....I have about four women mailing me desperately and i find it very worrying...very very worrying because I am wondering how that child will be given food, good healthcare and clothing after he/she has been born.

Please if anyone knows any Charity Organisation that aids people like this, please indicate.....

Have a nice day and dont forget to spread a smile in the smallest way possible and give whatever you have if you can!!!

Kisses!

    2. Children are gift from the Lord but not when you abuse the blessings by bringing innocent children to come and suffer for your brokenness.

If God blesses me with three, a girl and two boys then I am okay. All sexual intercourse by couples doesn't mean pregnancy should be the end point. If you aren't financially strong, then protection is advisable and necessary.

  6. We just finished morning Assembly and was about to start the days work, when I noticed that there was unusual movement of teachers. I came out of my class to find out what was going on.
Normally, I don't get wind of things happening because my class was detached from others, which often made many people forget we were there.
But that day's own was exceptional; Soldiers were in our school with convoys,so it was a case of,oke na oso, ngwere na oso.(every one was running helter skelter) Even the principal was jittery! Every body was apprehensive because we didn't know who they came for.
Then the man in the convoy requested to speak to Aunty Chy.
Come and see sighs of relief, which was short lived before we started feeling sorry for her, for what ever reason that made soldiers come for her.
Every where was echoing,'call Aunty chy!,where is Aunty Chy?
Her assistants were sent to go call her. Aunty Chy was hiding in her class. The principal had to go drag her from her class! When she came downstairs, the man now introduced himself as Major**** Mercy's Father, who was in her class. He said that he just came back from a mission in Borno, and found out that his daughter, Mercy who was just 2.5 years could write numbers 1-20 comfortably unaided.
It was a thing of surprise to him,so he decided to come show appreciation. After thanking her, He gave her an envelope filled with cash up to 20,000.
That's was how Aunty Chy turned to celebrity. Her class became a Mecca, every one was trooping to go see the wonder kid and pay homage to her teacher. Needless to say, teachers started lobbying to get the girl in their class as that was the third term.

I remembered this incident because of the bv,that is worried about overloading her son with work. Just know that in a class, there are different abilities, even though, they may be same age. Writing more numbers could be a form of stimulating the early bloomers. It shouldn't be a cause for concern ,if it is not affecting him.
Personally, I don't subscribe to rushing children especially at their tender age. Each to their own. Good morning!

  23. I ushered Chuba into our living room while my father went back to his room.
    "Finally" he said smugly.
"Why did you come? You're lucky my dad is the only one at home." I said, going to switch on the television.
"Then I'll have to come back some other time so I'll meet everyone else eh?" he whispered.
    "Please don't!" I countered.
"Why?" he asked in a hurtful tone.
    I changed the subject.
    "What do I offer you?"

That day we had yam porridge for breakfast and there was still some left over in the pot for lunch. But I sincerely wished he'd turn down the food and maybe require a drink. I could dash out quickly and get him one.
"Just water will do." He said.
"Water? Don't you need me to get you some food, soft drink?" I offered righteously and all the while praying he'd stick to his choice. I wouldn't have to go out, that would at least hasten his departure. I wanted him to leave.

I loved having him around but I couldn't risk introducing him to the rest of my family. Mma would be furious, my brothers might harass him.
    "Water" he insisted.
I went to get him some water and met Mpa standing at the door. When did he come out of his room? He didn't look happy.
"Esomchi, why is that boy still here?" he asked me.
"Mpa but he said he's waiting for Emy now. You allowed him to." I said taking the water to Chuba.
Mpa sighed and shuffled back to his room.

At the sitting room, Chuba was engrossed with a program airing on the TV. I came in, gave him the water and asked him what it was all about. While we were discussing it, I heard Mpa leave his room. He banged his door so loudly and shuffled around. He was pacing around, opening and shutting doors. Chuba did not know what happening but I did. After a while, everywhere was quiet once more, Mpa went back to his room I guessed. Only our chatter and that of the anchormen on TV could be heard.

Few minutes later, there was power outage. Chuba stood up to leave. He'd been around for about 15minutes. The power cut came at the right time and for the first time, I thanked NEPA for their intervention. We agreed to meet the next day at Okpaku's shop.

Okpaku eri eri, a given name by my siblings, (I have talked about him briefly in one of my stories) was a rich neighbor who lived like a pauper. He had so many investments like a big provision shop, a large poultry, a borehole, shops where he collected rent in town, and of course his house where he had 5 tenants. Money poured in daily, yet he wore one shorts year in year out. Anytime one met him eating, it's either soaked garri or bread and water. And it's not the quality bread he sold, but the potassium bromate ones from unregistered bakeries.
But Okpaku was a jolly good fellow. He liked us- Chuba and I. He said we reminded him of his youth. On few occasions, we relaxed at his shop for chilled drinks and snacks. We were the only ones he allowed to sit in his shop and enjoy the cool breeze from his fan. Others sat outside. So Okpaku's shop was a safe haven and hideout for us.

I saw Chuba to the gate, bade him farewell, after we reassured each other of undying love hahaha, locked up and turned to see Mpa standing, arms akimbo, at the veranda.
"Has he gone?" he asked with a frown.
    "Yes" I replied.
"Good. I knew he'd go. Come." He beckoned, smiling. Mpa was up to something.
I followed him to his room where he took a fuse, went to our electric metre box and plugged it. Bam!!! power came on. It wasn't NEPA!
Mpa wanted Chuba gone and so he cut the lights!

Good morning Stella and BVs. It's a beautiful day.

  32. The only single mother I respect are those that are:

    Divorced
    Separated
    Widow

Not those that became single due to fornications, who knows how many pregnancy they've removed before this particular one hook them for throat, stop the pity party, you became a single parents by your own philandering!😎😎😎😎😎

    1. The fact they kept the pregnancy is a good thing and should be encouraged. It's high time people stop seeing single mothers as cheap or whores. They are just like any other woman in marriage, and most times better than the married ones living with their husband that still f**k around.

      Delete
    2. Teejay, no one is saying keeping the pregnancy is not a good thing, my problem is people shouldn't coerce one into thinking it's a good thing.

I don't shame them, they shouldn't make it seem like everybody must like them😎😎😎😎

    3. Those that were raped nko? I respect all single mothers. At least they were brave enough to keep their babies and not abort. What about the men who impregnate up and down? You and your double standards!!

      Delete
    4. I quite disagree because, some single mothers not in that category you mentioned may have decided to have kids of their own, whether marriage was on the table or not, as they are women that are financially stable.

There are some married, divorced, separated, widowed women that are even more annoying than the category i mentioned above, because they know the situation on ground but just can't take precautions to not get pregnant.

One of my aunts falls in this category, married woman that goes around the family begging, and the annoying thing is that every year you see her she is pregnant for another one.
My parents wasted money trying to set her up in different businesses that always just seemed to fail, until her sister came to tell my mum that she gives the money to her husband, and my parents asked her to stop coming to ask them for money.

I wonder how many children she has now. Hopefully she has gotten wisdom in her suffering.

Now everything don change... today its 28days. Next 30 days. Next 29days. It is just jumping upandown. I'm very new in this town, I don't know any doctor around. My sister said it's normal cos it happened to her also, after she started having constant sex with her husband.

  40. Stella, thank you for your advice oh.

    Women, men, beware!

If your contraceptives fail or condom breaks, you know the right thing to do.

Stop that silly I cannot abort, abortion issa sin bla bla bla talk.

God cannot come down to give you food/money bcos you have a child you can't take care of.

Na only for Bible wey manna fall down from heaven.

If you are too holy to abort then you should be to holy to fuck and bring innocent children to come suffer in this world.

If you no like wetin I type so or you're not comfortable with wetin I yarn...

I don talk my own, abortion better pass to come suffer them.

  43. When you are married to a serial flirt, who uses his position to flirt with younger girls, someone that has been diagnosed of erectile dysfuntion, also suffering from halitosis what does he gain by flirting? He isn't even concerned about how the wife feels sexually, he only cares about himself. It is well.

  51. Stella Good morning! Good morning my people! How are you all doing? Stella I stand with you on your opinion. Why get pregnant when you know you can't provide for your children. I don't get it. Some of these mothers have husbands so why mail Stella for anti-natal fees and delivery fees. Close your legs when you don't have money to feed your children or use contraceptives! There are many types of contraceptives available choose one that works for you. Tell your husband to give you money for hospital fees and stop mailing Stella that doesn't live in Nigeria to pay for what she didn't participate in. After Stella pays for anti natal or delivery fees, will she be the one to pay school fees too? Mtshw! Sky kedu? RSQ,Ron, Castle,Yorim,Sharon, Teejay, Ladybug,Olori,Eka,Aries, Lucille how are you doing? Have a lovely week ahead! Kisses😘

  52. Some of us mentality can really be trying at times. This child bearing matter for Africa most especially Nigerians and worst still low income earners is appalling. I know some genuinely are mistakes cos they might be on contraceptive but some women will tell u say na God dey train children and u know maybe president go dey inside. And of course family and friends will have no choice but to help when the children come and they are stranded. So dey born dey go. If not sex no suppose hungry u if u really dey hungry for food.

  53. I just rented a shop. But I'm confused on what to sell now. I planned on selling foreign wines (I have another shop for that) but in this same plaza, the next shop sell wines too, then about 4 boutiques, a spa, 3 beauty shops and 2 saloons that sells human hairs and wigs; all in this same plaza. My shop is downstairs.

Please I need suggestions on what to sell here. A bit confused because I don't want to sell just wine again.

I have 2 standing freezers already, fixed the cabinets and all. But hey, don't want to end up selling what I will regret here.

This plaza is along the road side too.

Pls I need your great ideas Blog visitors.
    Thank you.

  56. It is the same broke ass, poverty stricken, chronic generational beggars breeding like cockroaches that will be mocking other women who chose to manage their life well, by not bringing poor unfortunate children into the world to come & suffer.

Stella..ah begi start preaching it, to educate these crazy girls or women to consider being economically secure, married well & in a stable relationship as priority before getting pregnant & having child!!!
*** time & time again, men & their families will reject, shun, exclude their child(ren) born out of wedlock, or born in any sort of dysfunctional circumstances!!!
Please plan for adoption & consider the best interest of a child when u are unfortunately caught up in having child without any good financial support or stability!!!

    * ** As Koredo Bello said: " helping the poor is by not becoming 1 urself, or increasing the numbers in society."
    This is 100% correct!!!
