    Left by 04:00pm from Ijora 7up on Tuesday and got to the Camp in Girei local Government by 11:45am on Thursday.

  4. By road was Abuja to Calabar 9hrs journey...gosh! I regretted such a journey. Enroute for a friend's wedding...tiring and unending journey. A journey one gentlemanly guy offered me his shoulder to sleep on. Wherever u are,Thank you Bryan.

    Armed robbers attacked our luxurious bus somewhere in Benin!...
    Kai!..I will never forget that experience!..
    We ran inside the bush,slept there until 6am!...
    We came out to see our bus tyres deflated by those bastards!..
    We had to wait the whole day for the tyres to be fixed!...
    You can imagine those days when there was no GSM..my mom nearly died of heart attack...

  16. I don't really like flying, I use to be even air sick when I was young and always threw up while flying but I outgrew it. I can easily manage Lagos-LON 6hrs. But anything more I get restless.
    My longest flight has been almost 15hrs with BA. LAG-LOND 6hrs, change over LON-MIAMI 8hrs, MIAMI-ORLANDO 1hr and I hated d stress and will never repeat it.

  19. The longest I had was hubby driving us to the villae. It was his first time on highway. We were so afraid and prayed all through the journey. To God be the glory,God granted us a safe journey. I really thank God for that.

  20. When I was reporting back to my PPA, I boarded a bus from Abia state as early as 7.00am, got Oyo by 6.30pm. By the time I boarded the bus going to Saki and waited for it to get filled. It was already past 8.00pm. Got there by Midnight.

  21. It was just two days ago; I flew to Dubai from Lagos, then flew from Dubai to Newark (New Jersey). The flight from Dubai to Newark lasted approximately 14 hours and I have told myself I'll never do it again.

    8. I’ve done that before.... Dallas to DXB 15 hours 😩 never again!!!! Layover in DXB then DXB to Lag and same thing coming back. My goodness that was awful, I had major anxiety cause I already hate flying but thought it was a good idea I got to see DXB and the flight with Emirates was a good 500$ cheaper than the direct flight from Dal to Lag

  24. Uyo to Adamawa on road. okay na for one week we were just sleeping and sleeping and sleeping. Our body went back to its rightful place after 7 days. Law school journey kia, when others were using flight and arriving in 3 hours.

    God please give me the grace not to let my children suffer, what i never enjoyed, let them enjoy and have more.

I have had some really long travels.johannesburg to sao paulo in brazil (11 hrs).sao paulo to menaus by road 34hrs.st peterburg to volgogtad in russia 24hrs by train.lagos to moscow via dubai 17 hrs. And many more.travelling is my number one hubby.sometimes it can be so boring bcos i never ever sleep during the journey.

  30. Sdk family and mothers pls help me. I'm a first time mom to be, I'm 5days passed my due date and there's no sign of labor, the contractions ain't strong. I'm so scared and worried, the doctor asked me to come for induction in two days, I heard that shit is more painful than labor itself, I don't know Weda to go for the induction or wait for sometime to fall into labor naturally. Mothers who have been induced, what was it like? Should I wait some more and ignore the doctor's advice?

Interestingly, I didnt really like my shortest journey which was my first and only flight experience from Lag to Abj cause I'm claustrophobic..and now reading the hours some spend on flight, I got shivers already...but I must travel well well regardless

  43. Lagos to Adamawa, my God!! Nysc orientation camp for me was in adamawa, we left Lagos on Monday morBing and got there midday on Wednesday. We slept over on the first night in Kano (more like sat over cos our bus just packed in a makeshift park overnight), and then stopped in go be around 9pm on Tuesday night for the test of boko had an to continue our journey on Wednesday morning.
    I bought Arik airline ticket immediately I got to camp against the day I'll be leaving after the orientation program.
