    1. I guess if it was your brother, you'd feel the same way. Please, be sensitive to the needs of others.

    2. Dear, it's not easy and so painful to think of. One can easily find closure knowing they are dead but not when you are still hoping to see them again someday.

    6. He is probably one of those that tried to come to Europe by sea and the worst happened. A lot of men died in 🇱🇾 Libia or during the sea voyage that their family are not aware of.

    7. YLE so from your calculation, 2007 till now is 22yrs? You indeed escaped from Yaba and you will still go back to that place

it is better to know the person is dead or alive than to be thinking if the person is dead or alive.
because if the person is alive, they don't know what he is passing through or if he is dead and what killed him.

  4. She needs closure. I feel for her and the family. How will a human being just disappear?

  5. So touching.... My ex girlfriend brother had an argument with the father after his refusal to give him money to start a business. He threatened that they won't see him again and he left. Its over 20years and counting, nothing has been heard about him. The father died some years back, yet no trace of him. It breaks my heart remembering that. Come to think he was the first Son.

Sometimes this persons could have traveled out of the country illegally and were detained, the reason of the absence in communication. Some may have died as well without people knowing.

    This life sometimes suck.....

  6. I can’t imagine how she and her family feel. When there’s a body, I think it makes more sense than not knowing if the person is alive, lost and wandering.
My family has experienced something similar, till today we don’t know what happened. He just never came back home and the search had to stop at some point because every resource had been used.

  7. May God lead him home if he is alive and closure to the sister if he is not.Looking for someone can be so heartbreaking.the brother of a friend of mine was wrongly accused of kidnapping and was taken by SARS.He is yet to be found and it is 3 years now since the real culprits were caught.Anytime his name is mentioned,it seems like reopening an old wound.God please intervene

    1. Ah...3years and real culprits were caught and nothing heard of him. Poor him. And having sars in this mix is not reassuring.

  8. Eeyah! God please let him be found alive. Too bad Nigeria doesn't have detectives who specializes in unravelling mysteries like this. Whenever I watch CBS channel, I can't help but shower US detectives with credibility.

Guy man finish school to come back home come be d problem... he didn’t come home for about seven years, all her family member has lost all hopes of ever finding him again, they went to his school in search of him, they didn’t find him, he changed his line and every means of contact.. suddenly last month, he came back with virtually nothing, all his properties at school has been sold by him.. okay what are u home for, he said he wants to go and serve.. they had to call in their pastor to be sure it isn’t his ghost cos he just came in like nothing happened, they asked why he took that long before coming, he had no reasonable explanation .the day my friend called me to tell me of his arrival ehn, I was so happy infact they didn’t want to let him go for his service but guy man insisted on going that he would definitely come back... now they are praying that he should come back whenever he’s through with his service.. to say this is someone that has finished school seven years ago oo

  15. Eeeyaa!

The pain of not knowing exactly if he's alive or dead is traumatizing.

I sincerely hope that they find closure.

Heard of my father's cousin that just vanished into thin air.
Till my grandparents died, it was also an emotional each time, the man's name is mentioned.

  16. Some people can be insensitive, it's not an accolade please. Finding closure is not what you can sleep and wake up and it's gone. This is FAMILY

  17. I know a family in Akure too. Their son has been missing for several year.

The best thing is to find closure.

Our ACM member then went to buy goods in Lagos and never came back till date, they buried him after 10 years of him missing according to their tradition, I could imagine how painful and heart breaking it was for them. He had two crippled twin daughters, the rest of the chikdren are married. I hope this young man is found.
