DeleteThe Web Pamphlet - the lady has made this allegation publicly before. She's not jumping on a bandwagon. I found out about this when I put Andrew's name forward for a role that would have done great things for his career and personal life. Due diligence was done (because I cannot have my name attached to anything scandalous) and this surfaced. So, he was discarded. This was YEARS ago. Talent and skill are not enough. A baby mama situation, I can clean up, convince others to overlook and claim redemption. Rape allegation that hasn't been addressed or disproved, I cannot. I, for one, am verrrrry disappointed in him.

ReplyDeleteAndre blaze has a very distinctive voice. He used to work with rhythm 93.7 in ph like 13 years ago (I was an ardent listener to his show with Eldee every weekday). The moment I heard the voice on bbn I knew he was the one. So she’s right on that. As for the rape side, me no know o.
DeleteIf the voice of BB isn't Andrew, they've used equipment to make it sound exactly like him. There are people whose voices are so distinctive, they can't be confused with anyone else. Andrew is one of those people; the way he sounds on radio and TV is how he sounds IRL.

I want there to be a time where GUILTY men and women in rape and domestic violent cases stop getting jobs.
That's how it is done in western countries. When you are being investigated for rape, any sexual violence at all, you will be restricted in what you can and cannot do. Once you are a convicted sexual offender, or in fact with any criminal record, you also kiss goodbye to most jobs involving coming into contact with the general public, especially little children, elderly people, sick or disabled and vulnerable persons.

And victims, witnesses of any sexual misconduct must report it! let other people know & always monitor, keep tracks of the whereabouts of their tormentors to prevent them from coming near them again or getting close to other innocent people. Nigerian women are among the most useless set of people when it comes to how to deal with rapists and sex abusers, because the girls and women all depend upon the men as brothers, fathers, uncles, boyfriends, husbands and etc for whatever economic benefits or incentives or support in life.
For example see how Lilian Esoro's divorce case against Ubi Franklin was bounced, thrown out of the court. When she couldn't even articulate herself well enough to file a simple case of divorce against "her so called husband" who is a notorious and reckless character. What is she really hiding? all she could say in media is " he is good provider."

DeleteAnon 10:04 ... I know a colleague who was applying to further in uni, so that he can work with the NHS. They did a DBS check of him, offence he committed when he was 11yrs old showed up. He almost got mad and went through legal process to clear his name.

I'm with you on this. She called him out before! Then, how can anyone with a brain can hear Andrew's voice and be arguing otherwise, is a mystery. Are the listeners deaf or just stupid? Andrew Henshaw's voice is one of the most distinctive voices in all of Nigerian entertainment! Nobody else sounds like him, so why are people arguing that the voice isn't his?

Timehin has been consistent in her accusations against Andre Blaze Henshaw.
ReplyDeleteShe has never said he raped her, she has maintained he sexually assaulted her at a beach party in front of others while she was drunk. He was told by people at the party to get off her.
Others who witnessed it have said that Timehin is saying the truth. But Timehin is right, we don't care about victims of sexual abuse because even when crimes are obvious/caught on tape/confessed to, we don't do much to the abusers. If they serve jail time at all, we quickly accept them back to society even when their victims are still hurting.
