Final Year Student Shot Dead At The University Of Benin Jeans Carnival

An un-named Final year student was shot dead on Friday November 1,2019 at around 6pm at faculty of Arts during jeans carnival at the University of Benin.

There has been no information on who killed him or why but the whispers around suggest that it is cult related.

Photo of the victim lying in a large pool of his blood as he died cannot be posted.

I am just Imagining how shocked and traumatised his Parents will be to be told that their son who will graduate soon has been Killed in school in cold blood.

Any Uniben Student here to gist us what really happened?

    1. A Portharcourt babe asking this question?
Many babes I know in PH are cultists.
Cult has plenty benefits, the most important one is POWER.
You have power and connections. Most of them come out of school and get good jobs due to connection. People in power and high places are mostly cultists so they help their own.

And what does it profit them to gain the whole wold and lose their souls?
      What do they lose?
Answer -their SOULS -have been traded off to Satan's hell.

  2. Cultists die like that. It may take years even after graduation, they still kill them.

    Say no to cultism.

I don't believe they are all forced to join cult groups anymore after what I saw on facebook.
A facebook friend posted something about sea pirates, buccaneers hangout wearing yellow attire. she used some of their terms. Out of curiosity,I went on google and saw their facebook page, I checked it and saw a post they made and many guys were begging to join their cult. Some even dropped their whatsapp number, begging to join with their full facebook profile with pictures o. I quickly unfriended the lady on my friend list who is their member.

  12. His parents will never get over this Trauma for the rest of their lives.. I know because my first cousin a very tall handsome lad who had his future all laid out fully for him because his uncle on his paternal side was a big shot at the NNPC and he already got a slot for him to do his service year there and on his maternal side, we all live overseas and he was very close to me, infact he always spent his holidays with me who leni was in Nigeria before I left on a course to London and still there.. he was killed in his final year at the university of calabar bu the police, we were told they were on a bus chasing after a rival cult group and the rival group stopped at a police check point and told the police the next bus was filled with robbers chasing them.. the police opened fire on the bus my cousin was in, he wasn't lucky enough and was shor.. hmmmm.. it was a dark day and period in all my family and my Auntie has NEVER RECOVERED till today.. she just exists.. luckily my cousins the girls are doing great but she misses the shining son.. I miss him soo much too because he always made me his big cousin laugh sooo much, i wonder how i could miss the signs that he was in a cult called Vikings?? How could I? Je was always in my house on holidays.. I would have stopped him.. my boyfriend then and now my husband noticed it then and kept telling me my Ajebutter cousin could be hanging with bad boys now because he always had some friends come to look for him then in Lagos Maryland, but they never liked coming in to the compound or the house and it was strange because they come and he dashes out and walks back in after an hour and he was never like that before .. I blame myself till today that I missed the signs.. so painful and his dad had died years ago..why did he join a cult.. he hot all the money and everything he wanted from the family.. whyyy?? Knowing his mum is a Widow..Heiiii.. this story just brought memories back .. I never knew the universities still have these cults in Nigeria

    1. There's a conspiracy for me not to comment on the blog. I'll find ways to ensure this comment appears.

First and foremost, most people who end up in cults were deceived into it and knowing the people involved, find it difficult walking away because of fear.

Secondly, you can't convince a cultist to leave unless he/she is willing to leave.

Thirdly, stop beating yourself up about it. Even if you had identified it at the time, he would have denied it vehemently and then reduced his obvious movements for a while.

I have 3 brothers and once they couldn't be roped into cults, the cultists started implicating them in so many things that popsy finally had to send all three to schools outside the country. Thank goodness that phase is over because life was difficult

    2. 😢who even knows why they join?this surulere is FILLED with extremely YOUNG boys signed in,90% of the public sec school boys are cultist already, even their girls too as I recently heard!!

    4. Lagos shopper, 90%? Did you carry out the stats? Let's stop exaggerating please.

    5. Take heart dear.
But know that you couldn't have stopped him, only Jesus could if he gave him a chance
These people take blood oath and only the blood of Jesus can reverse that.
And the fact that "he had all the money he wanted" is the more reason they join cults.
Discipline is the key. A child should be denied certain things/priviledges
just to make that child wise and discerning.

    7. Will it make you feel better if you learn that your beloved cousin probably killed other people too. Buzz off! Everyone who joins a cult knows what he/she is getting into. Nobody is deceived and stop making excuses.

  15. When I entered uniben in 2009 campus was the safest place most people used to run from ekosodin to hostels in their final year or when they were threatened and they'll be safe till graduated. Right now even those on campus are no longer safe. One of my neighbors was shot in ekosodin though he used to live in bdpa.

  18. Pyrates Confraternity is NOT a cult. It is registered by CAC. Your typical cult is a SECRET organization in that its membership is only known to people who belong and it is not registered. @13:46 stop discussing things that are obviously beyond your ken.

    1. Bros, your defense is weak. If you had said they're more organized, well maybe.. but using CAC registration as a defense proves you know nothing. So many things are registered as a front for different organization.
      Bless.

  21. It takes the grace of God to pass through the University, with out stress. Most persons that gain admission into the university never plans to be a cultist, majority of such persons who found themself in such situation, are either been treaten by others in the campus ,and maybe they found their self in this due to back up they felt they needed at that moment, some are trick or lure into it by friends, may thru party or GROUPING. The following are some advise. Know where u hangout in or off campus, know the kind of party u attends, know the kind of friends you walk with, and make sure u control your mouth on how u speak in public places while in campus or off campus. It take prayers and the grace of God to graduate successful these days. Not only cultist falls victims even the ordinary one who dnt know any thing about cult can also been a victim, when beef from a cultist can still make him strike on a faithful day to him. We just need prayers and to be contempted with what we have.
