Armed Robbers Arrested By Police After Attempt To Rob Bank Failed...
The F. C. T Police command has foiled an attempted robbery attack at a First Bank PLC in at a branch in Mbape, Abuja.
The robbers gained access into the bank in the early hours of today, Saturday, 28th December, but were trapped which led to the area being barricaded by the police and onlookers at the bank's entrance.
The spokesperson of the command, ASP Mariam Yusuf confirmed that normalcy has been restored in the area after four of the suspects were arrested and one gunned down.
The Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma confirmed that one those arrested was a staff of the bank , who was acting as an insider for the other four.

How can a thief enter a place that has just one way in and out and expect not to be caught. police stations and army barracks are even close to the bank yet their village people will not allow them to be contented with what they have. They must sha steal.
It's lack of common sense.. It's understandable for the thieves since they are mostly uneducated folks and completely hungry. But for the bank staff who is supposedly more educated and exposed..such level of dumbness for his paygrade..
Of course, at least one member of staff was involved. There are places you cannot penetrate if someone on the inside doesn't help you - whether for good or bad.
