TEEJAY WANTS YOU TO READ AND THINK ABOUT IT

Early 2012, I used to work for a politician as an errand boy. I did many errand for him. On one occasion, he called me to bring some items to his place. I got to his building and was told to walk straight into the master bedroom. On getting to the bedroom, I knocked at the door but chief told me to come right in.

On entering inside, chief was stark naked on the bed and a young lady I believe should be in her late twenties was lying on the bed with the duvet covering her alone. I dropped what I brought on the tile and was about leaving when chief said to the young lady, "Open the drawer, bring five thousand naira and give him."

"Sir, you know I am naked, without anything on." She said. She was still speaking when chief held the duvet and pulled it off and with a hard voice, commanded her to get out of the bed.

She came down naked and I quickly change my gaze. She brought the money and gave to me but I saw the pain in her eyes over that single act of chief. That was when my days working for chief became numbered. Eventually I quit working for him after a while.

Growing up in life, at one point or the other we did have this belief that we will never make the same mistake our parents made that's currently affecting us in one way or the other. Some would secretly in their heart question the reason behind their parents not being wealthy like other parents but little did they know they are making the same mistake their parents made many years ago, that will eventually affect their own children in years to come.

I would agree that some women jump from bed to bed out of greed and mundane things and some took to such lifestyle to cater for their poor family when the parents failed in their responsibilities. This present youths should plan extensively to lay a good financial foundation when they get into marriage, so that their children most especially the women won't be at the mercy of men to survive just like how that young pretty lady was humiliated before me all because of money.

You blame your parents for being poor, not giving you the kind of quality education you would have wanted in life in a foreign country or setting up a good business for you. Can I ask you one question? What effort are you making today to give your own future children those things you feel poverty denied you from? Or will you make the same financial mistake like your parents did? What if your own children apportion blame as well to you for not giving them quality life to live? If you don't want your children being abused because of money, then strive hard to provide quality life for them that they will be proud of. If the home is good and united, the society becomes a better place.

Think about this....

Hmmmmmm!!!!

  3. I HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE TO RUSH ANYTHING BECAUSE OF TIME

I hope you never take a wrong leap of faith because you think that if you don’t do it now, you’ll never do it. I hope you don’t let people who pretend to live their life to the fullest make you feel like yours is not fulfilling enough and that you need to jump on the bandwagon now or else you’ll miss the train.
I hope you don’t fall for the wrong person and settle because the clock is ticking and you’re held back because of your age or your culture or family pressure. I hope you realize that love is the only thing you can’t rush. Love is the only thing you can’t
    force .
I hope you never feel like you have to meet certain expectations just because time is slipping by and everyone around you seems to meet them. I hope you don’t try so hard to match someone’s life or dream that you forget your own. I hope you don’t let the world fool you into believing that your journey is insignificant or that you’re behind just because you’re not doing what everyone else is doing.
I hope you never let time be the main factor that navigates your life. I hope you don’t let it ruin the present for you. I hope you don’t rush into major life decisions just so you could be ahead in a race that’s not even yours. Maybe your path is slower or more difficult. Maybe it’s not as appealing as others for now. Maybe it’s not part of the majority but at least it’s original. It’s authentic. At least it’s yours . You’re not trying to live someone else’s story. You’re not desperately trying so hard to prove something to others. You’re living your own truth. You’re following your own pace. You trust in divine timing.
It’s so easy nowadays to feel less accomplished or behind or late to the party but I hope you use that as motivation rather than turning into the theme of your life. I hope you never feel ashamed of your differences or your journey. I hope you realize that sometimes things don’t happen to us when we want them to but they happen when we’re truly ready for them or when the time is right.
I hope you never have to rush big things because of time. I hope you take your time enjoying every moment, learning from every setback, finding strength and wisdom after every heartbreak and I hope you learn how to give yourself a break, how to give yourself time to bloom and time to shine.
I hope time doesn’t become your enemy. I hope you don’t waste your time trying to be on everyone else’s timing or trying to race people when you don’t know where the finish line is or where it will take you. And I hope you let time heal you because it may take a while for things to make sense but once they do, you’ll be glad you waited. You’ll be glad you embraced your journey instead of trying to change it. You’ll be glad you took your time. RANIA NAIM

I think it's best to have your child with you so anyone coming knows from the get go but dont expose them to anyone anyhow o the right man will find you no matter what.

  52. Disappointment, pain & suffering are part of life. They’re gut-wrenching & can affect us negatively. Remember, the Almighty wants us to learn a lesson in all that happens. So we have to find the best possible way to cope with such situations. Knowing that nothing lasts, helps!

  58. Poster who can't present "after one" to his family, I pray you don't look for "just one child" after you marry virginest of virgins tomorrow. Having what you think is your preference, you are completely entitled to. However, sometimes you need to examine why you think you hold a certain view.

Maybe the woman left her son in the village for convenience or financial reasons. Maybe she's hiding him, who knows? But some women, though - after having one child out of wedlock, she's still willingly trying to do what can bring another baby with a man she's not married to?

Re - Teejay's story. Ladies, any man that is okay with another man seeing your nakedness doesn't rate or even like you. He does it because he wants to humiliate you. A man that cares for you will honour and cover your nakedness, literally and metaphorically. But then, any man who asks to sleep with you before offering you anything - doesn't care about you, anyway. And I probably sound like a gramophone on repeat at this point, but apart from motivational talk of "you can succeed without laying on your back", please think about the spiritual implications of what you're doing to yourself. There is NO politician or wealthy person who sleeps with you in the name of runs, who isn't taking something from you that is far greater than what you think s/he is giving you - even if it's dollars they're paying you with. If some of you knew how serious it is, you would rather die of hunger than let any riff-raff touch you. Forget what you think you see on the 'gram.

    1. Some ladies are either too myopic or brain-dead! Even if the truth were staring them in the face, they wouldn't know. All they care about is the material gains; damning the spiritual effects!

  61. To think I never read any of TJ's write ups until today and something similar happened to me this morning on my way to work.

I stood at the bustop some weeks back to get a fare to work and an Alhaji stopped to give a lady he knew a ride, since I was standing close to her at the bustop he asked I hop in after asking if he was going my way. The lady dropped along and I continued the destination alone with the Alhaji later we parted way and I thanked him for the lift.

Since then whenever he sees me at the bustop he stops to give me a ride and has also been asking to date me with promises of spending the holiday in whichever country I prefer bla bla bla, I always call his bluff and tell him I'm not into all that and celibate

So today he picked me up and said he wants to switch cars along the road, we got there and the driver wasn't around yet with the car so he called and driver said he's still on his way at ajah, after some minutes he ordered for food and offered me told him I wasn't interested and running late so I asked him to call the driver again, this man just flared up in presence of everyone there and started shouting that why am I unnecessary difficult over everything that he's no longer going again and I should cross over and get a bus. I politely told him he's wasted my time already and it going to be difficult to get a ride from there to lekki but it seemed I was infuriating his anger the more as he kept repeating 'find your way and don't waste your time, I'm not going anywhere' while on the matter I've already ordered an uber. His driver eventually came and he kept shouting and suddenly my uber arrived and I saw the surprise on the face of he and his boys.

Why am I writing this, according to TJ's write up some girls have left themselves at the mercy of men that they start feeling like a god to young single girls, if we ladies are not covetous and find something doing no matter how little so as not to tossed around or oppressed by all these chief daddies sure the gender discrimination would stop
