  10. Non of the above for me!
The chocolate beverage that Nigerians mostly call "tea" was prohibited in my family home when I was growing up.

We only had tea 🍡 with milk and no sugar and a slice of buttered bread for breakfast, sometimes, we added omelette or seasonal fruits to it. That is still the best breakfast I will recommend for anyone in Nigeria.

I noticed back then that people that eat bread and chocolate beverage or pap usually sleep in the class and when I asked my dad, he told me it's because warm chocolate beverage actually relaxes the body, thereby making people to feel dizzy after taking it.

    4. Yes, it makes them sleep but chocolate beverage i.e milo, ovaltine, bournvita are good for growing kids.
      Tea is for adults.
Kids should never be given tea especially if the parents an afford beverages. Plus lots of milk.

    5. Ms. A, we are all not that ignorant to call chocolate
beverage tea. It was mostly Bounvita, Milo or Tea. Tea was Lipton tea.
Just say your dad didn’t like it. I took milo, bounvita and tea and never fell sleepy in class.

I learnt something from this blog and for one week I haven't taken breakfast.
I have noticed that I have more strength during the day.

Eccl. 10: 16 Woe to the land whose king was a servant

and whose princes feast in the morning.

17Blessed is the land whose king is of noble birth

and whose princes eat at a proper time—

for strength and not for drunkenness.

Some are eba, some are boiled yam. Only the wealthy had cereal for breakfast. Thank goodness for the times.
