Former Guber Candidate Babatunde Gbadamosi Arrested For Attending Funke Akindele's Party.

Former gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi, has been detained by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly contravening lockdown order declared by the State Government to curtail coronavirus spread.

Gbadamosi was detained after being spotted in a viral video attending a birthday party organised by Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello for her husband, Abdul-Rasheed Bello, held in Amen Estate, Ibeju-Lekki axis of the state.

A police source at the command headquarters revealed that Gbadamosi has been detained and may not be released by the law enforcement agency for engaging in an act that was at variance with the law.

  1. This is having a political undertone. Why arrest people that attended party when the organizers are the ones who committed the crime?Lagos state is making a huge fool of themselves and the world is watching in 5D with 5G network.

    3. They want to end his political career. Did they practice social distancing while taking funke and hubby away from the govt. If lawyers should start now, the govt will loose because there is no law that backs social distancing.

    4. Those that attended a party during a lockdown shouldn't have been arrested? You seem confused. You'll be fine.

Let them just give him community work to do as highway Manager for two weeks.

  5. Some politicians would have denied attending the party. They would have claimed the video was photoshopped.

BOG, you did wrong. Face the tune and learn your lessons.
It shouldn't be an end to your voice or political career.

    6. Perfect scenario! If someone is stupid enough to throw a party, you be sane enough to ignore him. But when both the sides are fools, Finke Akindeles situation will play out.

    1. Abi. They arrested Funke. Asked her husband and Naira Marley to show up, or else they will be declared wanted. Now they have arrested this Politician. No one is saying anything about Eniola Badmus and the others attending the party. They can't just do "selective arrest." Arrest everyone, they committed the same crime.
