DeleteIt's called kpokpo garri by isoko and uhrobos, its processed similarly to the way garri is processed instead of frying like garri it is sun dried.

There's this snack they make out of cassava in Imo State. It's made with ground cassava, pepper, onions and salt and fried in oil. We call it akara akpu. Who knows how it is made please? I've tried to make it without success. It always comes out bitter and wet unlike the one I buy in Imo State. I'm in Lagos now and I so miss it. Who can teach me?

Very common in Delta and bayelsa. They also eat it soaked in pork pepper soup. They have another of their local snacks called madiga
