Police Officers Who Fatally Shot Teen Tina Ezekwe Have Been Sacked And Arrested

The Lagos State Police Command has released a statement announcing the arrest of ASP Theophilus Otobo and Inspector Oguntoba Olamigoke who fatally shot 16 year old Tina Ezekwe at the Iyana-Oworo area of the state.

They reportedly shot Tina were trying to stop a commercial driver for defying the state Covid-19 curfew.

The Commissioner of Police Lagos, Hakeem Odumosu called for calm and said an in-depth investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of 16 year old Tina Ezekwe is ongoing and contact had been made with Tina's family.

I think its time the government looks for another weapon to give the Nigerian Police, they are using the guns given to them to protect the masses to kill the masses!!!!

    1. Back in the days, they used to give police baton, I wonder why they started carrying guns around and if they must give guns, they should give them toy guns because the Nigerian police are not to be trusted with human lives. Any slight thing, they cork a gun. I hate the Nigerian police.

  4. Why do some people allow the devil to use them anyhow bikonu? A driver (harmless) refuses to stop and the next thing is to shoot haba!!! If they were coordinated another set of police would have blocked the driver at another place in front. Now this innocent teenager is gone. Family heartbroken. God!

    1. People that Nigeria parades as police officers are poverty-stricken. They took the job just to 'survive'. It's like a hustle to them. They lack what it takes police our communities. Who have we offended in this part of the world?

  6. Just take a look at the both of them, one looking like the Utobo himself and the other looking like abuoana! Two useless men.
See how they wasted the life of an innocent beautiful girl with a promising future, I hope they both get fatally shot as well, umuekwensuu.
May the soul of the departed angel continue to rest in peace Amen.

  9. My friend's cousin was also shot like that in Benin city just because of 100 Naira bribe . When the bus driver refused to give him then the policeman opened fire and unfortunately the guy was in the front seat with the driver . Thank God he didn't die now the police force have been pressuring his family to change their statement and to say he was shot by a vigilante

  17. I heard the confession of a policeman turned pastor, he shot an innocent guy at UI (University of Ibadan) during one of their protest, he lied about it, 20 years later after becoming a pastor, retiring from the force his son was killed at the same spot, he had no choice than to come on TV to confess.

They should not learn from others people will learn from theirs
