DeleteHaba.... I be man but this doesn't make sense at all. There is absolutely nothing wrong developing a male contraceptive but the one that will block sperm is a no-no.
DeleteThem forget say na when men release the thing de sweet pass?
Do something that can make the sperm not able to impregnate not to block sperm
Good oneππ

DeleteThat is what they have been saying since, this news don old. The truth is men don't like using anything that will interfere with their reproductive health, na woman be scape goat for all this invention. Mark my words even if they succeed, men won't use it. Obirin lo daran
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely spot on.
DeleteI love this, at least the blame will shift from women. Both parties can then take it for prevention.
ReplyDeleteSo if the semen don’t leave the penis during ejaculation, then where will it be stored or where will it go to? π±π€
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will leave, it just won't fertilise.
Deleteππππππ@Issac
Deletesurvivor kilode? πππ
DeleteBut if sperm no fit commot preeq, wetin come remain na? Won’t it be painful like not allowing piss come out? Me am not understanding o.
ReplyDeleteππππππππ
DeleteFantabulous
ReplyDeleteOur Naija brothers will never use itπ
ReplyDeleteYou see, even in science they objectify women why did it take them so long to do this?
ReplyDeleteDid you think before typing this?
DeleteActually there is a documentary on Netflix about male contraception, some exist today but the adoption rate is very low, society has placed the onus of pregnancy prevention on women and until we change the narrative, introduction of more male contraceptives won't change this sadly.
DeleteDavido over to you.

It's a welcome development.π
You will cum but d cum won't be fertile
Deleteπππ
DeleteI would use it in a heartbeat! With diaper, infant formula & creche fees going up every time. This tab would save lots of men from accidental discharges.
ReplyDeleteAccidental discharges ragarding sex? Hahahahaha
DeleteWill they use it???thats another question
ReplyDeleteNigerian men won't use but I want to know, if they don't ejaculate, Where will the sperm go? What happens to it? I hope it won't store somewhere and cause more trouble. Even as a woman I don't like contraceptives. Oga if you cannot use CD abeg rest. Nobody will die.ππ
ReplyDeleteYears ago, I think about 2010-2013, I'm not sure. One of my dad's friends came visiting. He had lost his wife but remarried two women. So there was constant war. My dad was asking him, he would go and marry two women at almost the same time. He said, his only mistake was that they are from the same town and he should have married from different tribes or states.
ReplyDeleteBy then, the two women had children for him, so he told them, he doesn't want anymore children but they should not worry. He will take precautions himself. That he takes an injection monthly that kills sperms so if any of them gets pregnant, he will know she cheated. So there's always being a form of Male contraceptive, men just feel it's a woman's problem. Didn't we just read how a man brutalized his wife for falling pregnant. I read an interview of one of Fela's concubines that Fela was using a drug or an injection that kills sperms. So some of the concubines didn't want to leave the harambe, but they wanted children, so a number of them were impregnated by other men but there was a clear understanding between them and Fela that those children weren't his and the sole responsibility of their mothers.
You hit the nail on the head, male contraceptives are usually non evasive/reversible and have little side effects when compared to the females. I think these are conversations worth having with one's spouse. I intend to be a 21st century wife lol, my future husband better be ready to consider this option after we are done childbearing
DeleteThis is a welcome development.
ReplyDeleteGood one!!!
ReplyDeleteGood invention. Taking birth control measures shouldn't be the sole responsibility of women.
ReplyDeleteMe, I will not take it, because, the one I have is not even enough, and you still want me to take drug to delay it. Mehn, delay is dangerous and dangerful.
ReplyDeleteHmnh! If you believe your partner then you are on your own o! Men are so careless and will tell you anything just to get in your bed. Unless it is the type of pill that you would take before the act and he takes it in front of you, wahala go dey o!
ReplyDeleteThe question should be, will guys/men agree to use it? Even with CD, some of them will remove it in the heat of the action.
ReplyDeleteReserved Queen
Men when no de remember wedding anniversary wan take pills? Okay oh! Dem better find injection for them.
ReplyDelete... Phillipa
This Is A Good Development Especially For The Men That Dnt Like CD....Make Them Self Take Am Come Begin Add Weight Or Rather Slim Down... Some Alika Stubborn Men will Not Like This Great Ideal...
