Saturday Breakfast Post - Have A Tom Brown!

This breakfast cereal looks yummy!!!







Tom Brown is a thick brown powdered food-combination of yellow corn, millet,guinea corn (cereals), groundnut (peanuts) and soybeans (legumes).
it’s one meal that is essential for babies if you want to wean them and want them looking well fed after breast milk.

This cereal is also good for adults who always have busy schedules and may have to leave very early in the morning to their place of work. It’s just a 5 minutes meal.
This will save you time especially if you are on the go.


Ingredients

Millet, Guinea corn
Yellow corn
Soybeans
Groundnut/pea nuts.

Optional Ingredients
:

Crayfish.
Dates (sweetener).

Sort them,fry corn,soya beans and groundnuts.Grind into powdered form and you are good to go.
Prepare it the way you cook Quacker Oats.

  5. Be careful with this. Test your babies for allergies before feeding them crayfish or groundnuts. Some kids are deathly allergic!

    2. Recent studies have shown that children who take nuts earlier hardly have but allergies.Soy bean is anti nutrients but make sure you remove them by soaking and cooking.

    2. Castle,hope you remove anti nutrients in it by soaking and draining the water after every eight hours and boiling too.Try not to buy road side too,causes purging and stomach ache.

      Make Kunun Aya pap for her.

      Buy:
      A bowl of dried Tiger nuts.
      3 dried ginger fingers.
      A cup of dried dabino(dates).
      Blend them smoothly to convert to dry pap.
      Make it like semovita on boiling water,cover to simmer for 5minutes.
      NO SALT PLEASE.

      If she goes to bed at 8pm,you won't hear pim till morning.

      I prepare it myself during harmattan period for complete dryness to avoid warms and NO,I don't add crayfish and groundnuts.
      Leaves it heavy and their nose stuffy.
