Man Spots His Stolen SUV in Lagos Traffic And Jumps In Front Of It...

Chaos broke out in Ojota area of Lagos on February 23, 2026 after a man spotted his stolen white Toyota Highlander in traffic.


He acted on instinct, and jumped in front of the moving SUV to stop it.
The commotion drew the attention of bystanders, who rushed in, pulled the driver out, and chased him as he attempted to flee. The situation eventually calmed down, and the vehicle was secured.
The video does not show what became of the driver...

  10. I guess another reason he succeeded is the area in question. If it had happened in Lekki or one of those other posh parts of Lagos, I doubt he would have had that many bystanders helping him.

  16. Thank God he was able to get back his car.
    Similar story happened at my former place of work. It was a case of stolen car. Three police men came, one drunk one even cock his gun directly at my chest for something I knew nothing about.
    Abeg it was very traumatic and embarrassing for me.
