God is beautiful and everything that represents Him is beautiful... We can dress beautifully to church and God will still be happy with us

DeleteWell, I will not wear that to court to see a judge, why should I wear that to church?. However, I can wear that at home while praying. Heck! You can pray and worship in your undies, just stay indoors with it.
DeleteModeration is the key. Club or party wears should not be worn to church. We live in different climes. Let oyibo do their own while we do our own. God will judge all of us.

What Jesus prescribed for his people is modesty, decency and propriety in dressing.

ReplyDeleteThis is too extreme. How will she sit? I wear mostly native clothes to church cos they're very comfortable for me. In as much as a lot of people believe God only care about the heart and not the outside appearance, moderation and decency should not be thrown away.

Wearing skimpy dresses and show breast to church is very wrong, God needs to be respected and regarded. That's my opinion.

ReplyDeleteYou go to church to worship God not to focus on someone's dressing. You might say it's a distraction but believe me, if you went to church truly to worship God you wouldn't notice any dressing.

Dressing to church shouldn't be a problem if everyone minds their business.
The church is a place for saints and sinners and more often than not its mostly filled with sinners. Why then should dressing be your problem. Focus on the God you came to worship and not aunties gown length or tightness and brothers bulge, dada and tattoo.
The church is a place of solace, everyone is free to attend with his or her own conscience.

ReplyDeleteAs a Christian, this dressing is not right except for clubbing. In what ever we do or wear we need to consider other brethren especially those who are little in faith.
