Sunday In House Gists - Silence Is Golden Unless You Have A Child...

Do you know the phrase ''Silence is golden unless you have a child?Let me try to explain it to you in case you are new on this Blog......

The silence is golden moment is that moment where everything goes quiet in the house and then you momentarily forget that you have kids who might be up to no good....

You suddenly remember you have kids who should be playing around and then you go looking for them and discover why they are quiet.....lol

I had lots of silence is golden moments when my Bambinos were little boys and i cannot tell you the shock i felt seeing my son shaving off his curly hair that i adored or the time i ran into one shaving like he watched his father do......

Or when i walked into the kitchen and saw food all over, and even on the white walls...splashed food oh....

The silence is golden unless you have a child moments are for those with little kids like in the illustrating photo.......

We have made lots of silence is golden moments here that you can look up on google with the same headlines...

Do you have any hilarious tales from silence is golden moments or did you start crying when you walked into your child to see what had happened?

I heard of a little girl that was found drinking water in the Toilet and another looked for Mummys used sanitary towel and was chewing on it (throws up)

Lets gist!!!

  1. Haa,I can never forget oo,how my son when he was about 2years went into the room and was licking my body cream,it was cocoa butter and smelled like icecream,by the time I got there,he had already finished like half of the container,my heart somersaulted,i gave him palm oil first, before we got to the hospital,he vomited all he ingested. It's funny now when i remind him especially when he's forming "I'm all grownup"☺️

    3. Oh wow.
      Thank God it ended well.
Please mothers, giving palm oil to neutralizer ingested poison or substance is not advisable, it could even worsen the case.
Best bet is to rush to a close by hospital intact.
      Activated charcoal solution helps too.

    4. My son of 2+ does this too.. Whenever I am not watching him, he'll start licking the body cream and if caught in d act, he will say "its akamu" mummy it is sweet. I can't just shout.. Now i hide the body cream carefully.Yesterday my eldest son of 4+ sat down and was moody.. I asked him " Jesse, are u OK? He replied "leave me alone mummy, u are giving me headache"
Just negodu my son telling me I am giving him headache because I always shout. It's alright..

  4. I don't have kids but I remember a moment our long standing fridge fell on me because of an orange heist which I didn't even like.
I can only imagine the shock on my mums face when she came into the kitchen and not only found her fridge on the ground but also found a 6yr old me underneath it sleeping because I was tired of screaming for help.

    3. Hmmm only God can help parents. Someone was giving testimony in church today how her 3 years old daughter off the cooking gas and brought down the frying pan of plantain, she was confused if the child did it without being hurt and had to ask her husband if he was the one that put off the cooker.

  18. I can't leave my daughter alone, when I don't hear her voice and call her,no answer,I know I'm in hot soup. Somebody that relentlessly drank one full bottle of lonart syrup. To give her the 5ml was war but she finished the whole bottle in one minute and was laughing. I nearly died of stroke. Can't even type what the second one does, nothing moves without her chasing it, catching it and eating,be it cockroach. It's safe to say we don't need cats, all the rats know this one. raising kids is not child's play.

  24. Where will I start from?

Is it when my child drank details, and then kerosene ๐Ÿ˜จ

Or when he put orange seed in his ear and we only found out when we saw something budding from his ears, and a horrible smell from his ear.

Or when the other one put cotton in his nose and will trying to remove it, pushed it in the more.

How i survived these times, only God knows.

It's well with every parent and guardian ๐Ÿ˜„

  27. My silence is golden moments always leaves me speechless and sometimes I feel like crying sef.I have two beautiful daughters 3 and 5 now, My 3 year old has suddenly fallen in love with makeup and myb4 years old nail vanish. My 3 year old opened and spilled my expensive lancome serum.those serums are not cheap but last for a while which is why I manage to buy them. So am always dragging her away from my dresser but she somehow goes there when am not looking. And she must open one bottle or lipstick, even anything to put on her smooth pretty face. So that day was my newly bought serum and I felt like murdering. But I thought it over and went to cry at the couch.More than. Hundred dollar wasted and I can't even vent my anger on her as that won't bring my serum back.
