    Ephesians 5:15-16

    Excerpts!!

"If you could take the time to plan your day and prioritize your activities, you ought to expect that those you meet would have done the same"

  7. While I was admitted some months back at the hospital, something happened and it thought me a valuable lesson I was going to hold onto for a long
time. This woman who nursed her sick husband whose bed was just opposite mine, walked up to me. She told me she had brought no cups along with her and she needed a cup she could use to bath her husband when he finally wakes up from sleep. She asked if I had any cup available to give her. I told her I had brought none. The one I brought had been taken home. I do not use cups to pour water on my body. I used my hands. But she could make
use of the cup on my water flask if she chose to. She asked if I was okay with it, and I told her it was
fine. "Just use it. The flask has another cover on it. Use it." I smiled so she doesn't feel somehow about it.

She thanked me and left with the cup. Soon when her husband was awake, she walked him to the bathroom to have his bath, using the flask cup as a fetcher.
Moment later, when her husband was fast asleep again, she returned to me and asked if I had hot water in my flask. She told me they had no flask and her doctors said her husband will have to be drinking warm water always since he had just undergone a surgery. I told her there was hot water in the flask and I stretched my hands, picked it, and handed it over to her. I watched as she made tea for herself using the water from my flask, and drank the tea from the
flask cup. When her husband was awake, she made him tea in the same cup and handed over to him to drink.

  8. Beloved, God will send his Angels to take charge of us as we step into today's activities. All our good missions will be accomplished to the glory of God. The breeze around us will blow peace, comfort and joy to us. Every step we take will bring fulfilment and contentment to us and our joy will multiply in the name of Jesus.

The rest of the year and beyond will end well for us in Jubilation. The Almighty God whose has been with us from our youthful age shall not forsake us. His relationship with us shall continue to wax stronger and stronger

  16. During that period, the flask was always with her and I didn't even bother to ask for it. I noticed her sick husband needed the hot water more than I did. As for me, I was already recovering fast and was just waiting to be discharged.

The day I was to be discharged, I went to the bathroom to take my bath. But then I thought of using the flask cover for the first time. I returned and asked the woman if I could use the flask cover to have my bath. This time, the husband was now awake and staring at me with his eyes wide open. She told me to pick the cover. While I turned to leave, her husband called me back.

"What do you want to use the cover for?" I told him I wanted to use it to have my bath. "Drop it please." He pointed angrily to the table. He turned to his wife and scolded her. "Why will you give him our flask cover to go and bath with? Why? I don't like this attitude of yours please. How will you share my cover with someone I do not know? Do you know the sickness he came with to the hospital?" I dropped the flask cover on the table without
saying a word, and walked to the bathroom. When I was done having my bath, I returned back to my bed and the wife brought the flask back to me. She thanked me for borrowing her the flask. "At a point I forgot I had even borrowed the flask from you. Thank you so much. Please don't be angry."

I smiled and collected the flask from her. Before she left, she apologised again for her husbands rude behaviour towards me. I told her it was okay and I wasn't feeling bad about it. When I asked if she had a flask for her husband's tea and hot water, she told me she didn't. But she planned buying one when money comes in. I handed the flask back to her and told her to keep it. "Use it for his water. I will buy a new one when I get home." She was so excited. She thanked me severally, before turning to leave. The husband who laid on the bed, waved and smiled at me. "Thank you. God bless you. Thank you very much."
    He smiled excitedly.

I left that hospital with a lesson. Sometimes we offer help to people who wouldn't do same for us in return if we were in their shoes. We make sacrifices for people who wouldn't think of
making such sacrifices for us too. I have found myself doing things for people who denied me same favour when I needed it most. But that didn't stop me from being good and rendering
help when they need it. It shouldn't stop you either. Don't stop doing the right thing just because they don't do same for you. A good act will always
speak for you. It may not come through them, but it will definitely come through someone else.

  19. GOD IS GOOD - ALL THE TIME.

The psalmist said, 'Examine and see how good the Lord is' (Psalm 34:8 NCV). Pay particular attention to the words 'examine' and 'good'. What you believe about God manifests itself in the way you live. What does it mean to be 'good'? It means living up to the best you know. And since God is omniscient (all-knowing), he knows what your best is! His goodness is beyond all question. Because God is good - not just pious, but really, practically, consistently good - your cup of well-being, security, peace, confidence and joy can be overflowing!

A good God cannot break his promise, abandon his children, or fail to love and bless them. You can be sure that in every circumstance he will treat you in the best possible way. When your life seems to be falling apart, sometimes it's difficult to see God's goodness or feel that things will get better. That's when you must use the faith God has already given you, and by an act of your will, trust him (see Romans 12:3).

Don’t miss your destiny because you didn’t want it bad enough. What God put in you is worth fighting for. It’s worth being uncomfortable; it’s worth having to stretch, to get up early, to try again, to do what others aren’t willing to do.Joel osteen.

  33. Good morning I thought I should share my police experience with u guys..

In d year 2017 some poilic men came to our compound to arrest our neighbour nd his frnds for beating up his sister's boyfriend.

The sister nd boyfriend where d once that went to the NPF to report the matter. So wen they came our neighbour nd his frnd Ran through the back door, meanwhile I was in my room wearing just my short nd a singlet without Bra so I heard people jumping d fence nd I decided to come out of my room to check what was going on then, only for me to be hndcuffed with my mom nd taken to the police station... I was in d van shouting mad crying that I am innocent they shouldn't take me away that I don't knw wat my crime is. That's how d police man slapped my mouth and I started bleeding.

The next thing I saw myself in the cell with my mom... That's how dey labeled me a prostitute,( I told one of d officers that I was in my house wen I was arrested and dey refused to let me change my clothe). I was taken to the DPO nd given some stroke of Cains using wire..

I and my Mom slept in cell for two nights those nights were d longest nights of my life.. after everything we were bailed with the sum of 10k each.. u needed to see my back. My mom cried bitterly nd even asked the DPO to flog her instead of me.

Fast forwarded to early Last year the IPO in charge of our case wish shot Dead ( very wicked woman) to think we attended the same parish.. nd it was rumored that d DPO has a hand in her death... And d DPO was dismissed form the NPF.

Policy is never nd can Never be ur frnd!
    Ignore my typos.

All this happened in Nchia police station Eleme Rivers State..

    1. So sorry for your loss. Its very normal to grieve. However, psychologist believe that not isolating oneself helps with grief. Go out more often, mix with sensible people more, be around family and friend and look for someone trustworthy you can always vent to. Above all do not underestimate the power of prayer. Tell God everything and you'll feel better. Once again take heart

One thing that consoled me most was the the hope of resurrection. Seeing myself and my loved ones again when all things are made new.

We learn to live with it and cherish every moment we shared with them.

You need the support of family and good friends to get past this stage.

One day, his wife came calling at night and the security men told her I was right inside the house. She came calling him by his pet name and lo all hell was let loose.

He wanted me to hide inside the wardrobe but I was so afraid. I ran to the backyard and jumped the fence. Hahaha. That was my saving grace. Poor me.

When she left, I was told she searched everywhere for me in the house to no avail. I still miss him, his advice and most importantly his pure love and pray God to grant him eternal rest.
