EX PRTT Boss Maina Pulls Stunt In Court And Collapses Before Trial Judge To Stall Case.

Nollywood actor Former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Force Team, Abulrasheed Maina, on Thursday, collapsed before trial Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Maina, who is facing money laundering charges, slumped down shortly after the court resumed proceedings in the 12-count charge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) preferred against him and his firm, Common Input Property and Investment Limited.

Maina, slumped beside the dock where the court permitted him to sit when his Lawyer was about to speak...

Some lawyers and officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) quickly rushed to his aid, a development that forced trial Justice Abang to suspend sitting.

From Naijanews....

This is what every public official who is being tried for taking money that is not their do.....They either arrive in court all 'stunted' up or they pull if off in court.....

    1. I dont blame him I blame the nollywood film industry who are producing dramas that are given this criminals ideas how to act. Drams like this should be banned in Nigeria and heavy prison sentence imposed on the culprits. Look Maina that fled to Niger enjoying under aged girls there is now back in Nigeria to face his case has decided to deceive himself not Nigerians. His case must be finished if found guilty he must serve his term in jail weather dead or alive justice must be served.

  11. Honestly we have great ACTORS that can compete with the likes of Bruce Willis, Denzel, Samuel L Jacksons, et. in Nigeria.

Our Producers should be approaching them for movie roles.

  16. Can the country Nigeria sustain this national culture? That somebody is appointed into a high office and the first thing he begins to contemplate is the type of strategies to deploy to milk the organization and the nation at large. Are Nigerian elite really accursed? Something drastic needs to be done to save the ordinary people from this wicked national culture of corruption. But who will take up the gauntlet?
