The level of materialism in the body of Christ these days is alarming. The purpose of offerings and such giving is supposed to be for distribution to the fellow believers so that none will lack in the fold.

ReplyDeleteThere was a woman many years back in Nigeria. We lived back then in the same estate and coincidentally worship in the same church. During the church anniversary a visiting pastor singled her out and asked her to give something of great value to God. He went as far as saying even if it was her car. I was fuming where I was sitted. Yes she had a nice ride but why try to take it from her? She promised to give her car right there on the pulpit and that was the last day I saw her with that car.

Gen wen d man never flex reach a month. na just one word the husband tell d wife if she still love her marriage she should go and get the gen back. Las las na Benin den finally go retrieve the gen from one of the pastor house wen minister for the program that day
