The essence of this post is to make it easier for BVs to get answers to their inquiries instead of leaving such derailing comments in random posts and then reading through looking for them when i have deleted ....
The other day someone asked if they could retrieve data from a crashed hard drive......I am not sure the person saw the answer given...

@Martins please is it possible to get a good screen guard in the market? The type that, even if my phone falls from a decent height, the screen won't crack. If yes, what are they called?

It's called 10D screen Glass protector...
You can also get a 20D Glass(what I use)...
It's density and size is the exact of your phone screen so when your phone falls from a reasonable height;the glass would crack instead of the phone screen..
I change mine every six months or as the spirit leads..
There is also a liquid screen protector(Nanoscreen) which young can do on your screen before using the 10D or 20D GLASS protector...

DeleteThe app being used to unlock usually comes with a subscription rate(in dollars)..
For example;you can be given access to unlock three(3) Samsung phones at the rate of #30000 when converted to naira..
So the tech guys pay for it and then charge you #15000 For each device(meaning profit is #5000)..
Most people think it's free but truth is that you pay;it's a tech world and these are one of the way income is being generated..
It's same way an iPhone is unlocked permanently and the price increases depending on the model of the iPhone..
So even if I tell you how to unlock;you will pay much more(for buying the tool) compared to when you negotiate with the tech guy to help you unlock..

HOW TO GET A BLOG ID
1) Go to Blogger.com and sign up first..Then after signing in,visit the Blog and locate the "comment Box" on any post of your choice(You would see your email signed in from the Drop-down menu)..
Now click on that letter "B" by your left which is where your photo is supposed to be displayed..
2) A page would be shown,then click on "EDIT PROFILE" at the top,by your right..
3) Scroll down and locate "PROFILE PHOTO" then click on "CHOOSE FILE" and select any picture of your choice..
Be patient and allow it load properly(a spinning circle) then scroll down and click on "SAVE"..
4) To edit your BLOG ID,scroll down and click on "PROFILE NAME" then edit it to any pseudonym of your choice..

ReplyDeleteI have noticed that you can't browse Stella's blog from a Glo SIM.
This issue of not being able to access Stella's blog is a problem from Glo as network provider not being able to perform "handshake" to the web host (Stella's blog).
Switch to other network provider either MTN, Etisalat or Airtel... And you're good to go.
Download an undated Opera mini or you open it through chrome.

DeleteFor a new mum that wants to register with them, you should go there on Tuesday to make inquiries as you will be asked to pay for a card, bring your husband to donate a pint of blood or so, you will also be asked to run some tests. Just go there on Tuesday to know what they need for you to register with them. It may be different now though.

ReplyDeleteTry taking Sherry fruit (Agbalumo). The sour taste will help stop the spitting. I always had it in my bag then, it really helped with the nauseous feeling I had.

DeleteRetrieving the data takes a process which involves some resources that needs money..
That is why retrieving data is usually costly and most people prefer buying a new hard-disk drive or perhaps see if there is a way they can restore the crashed one..
Is it possible to retrieve data from a crashed disk? Yes
Is it Easy? NO
Is it cheap? No

Kindly get one from your bank;then get another from Opay..
Opay charges are very good;its #10 last time i checked..
Just try to meet up with their terms and you are good...

There are other platforms too like moneypoint etc..

For Jumia and Konga;Jumia especially have offices in many areas at Lagos..
Walk into one and make your inquiries..
I would advice you go to the Jumia office at Alaba,Tradefair or computer village..WHY??
These three places house the biggest market in Lagos so if your dispatch coy meets their requirement;you will get lots of orders daily which is good for you and them..
Don't call them on phone;walk to their office and ask to see their manager..give him or her your proposal
To get their office address;Google for example:
Jumia address at Alaba...

For the Jumia, those places Marthins mentioned can't do anything for you. You would rather go to their cooperate office at Ikeja-109 Adeniyi Jones Ave. Although i heard they have moved to Yaba now-76 Old Yaba Rd(Although i haven't confirmed this). If you are in serious doubt, kindly go to No 1 Industrial estate, off Surulere Avenue, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Ikeja (OPEBI), Nigeria- This is one of their biggest warehouses, so you will definetly get all the info you need here. I would have dropped a contact but then this person is an account officer assigned to my store alone. Hope this helps.

DeleteYes there are different platforms/Apps with different rate..
For example;a platform can give you MTN #100 card at the rate of #93,then you resell at #100..
Another can give you for #95 or #97..
What most resellers do is register with various platform then check their rates and go for the best one..
Most can be using one platform for recharge card;then another platform for DSTV subscription;then an entirely different one for Data..
Kindly note: No platform will sell #100 MTN at the rate of #70,so when you see something like that you already know it's a scam..

If the manufacturer says the motherboard of your device cannot be replaced and you take it somewhere else, it means the device won't work properly after the change.
DeleteBut if you still want to do it anyways, go to slot in computer village. The slot inside the market, not the one on medical road.
