Couch Convo - Beating Endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a full body condition in which cells similar to those in the endometrium, the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grow outside the uterus. Most often this is on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and tissue around the uterus and ovaries; however, in rare cases it may also occur in other parts of the body. Some symptoms include pelvic pain, heavy periods, pain with bowel movements, and infertility.(Wikipaedia)

Those women who have been diagnosed with this and got pregnant despite having it, please tell us what you did and how you did it....

Did you take medications or you were just lucky?

  4. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis. I've had three surgeries so far but I'm still in a lot of pain despite the surgeries.
I had a set of twins via IVF. The pregnancy was very difficult and painful. As for medication, I tried a lot and none has worked out for me. As I'm lying on my bed now in pain, I want a hysterectomy so bad. The pain is outta this world.

  7. Wishing all of you healing. There are studies out there that link endometriosis to childhood abuse (not 100%) but quite a percentage of people within the study shared that they had been abused in childhood, the more you know... (google it)
Knowing how sick some of our male caregivers can be, nothing is impossible because we know that families likes to keep the secrets of the elders therefore, placing children in needless harm.

  8. I was hoping for more comments on this. Appears there isn't much to talk about.wascdiagnosed with Stage IV endo, it caused hydrosalpinx in my right fallopian tube and blocked the left tube. I had surgery to remove the right tube so I can get ready for IVF, after surgery the fertility doctor at Diff did a scan and said there was hydrosalpinx in the left tube HSG said was blocked. I went into prayers.i had joined NSPPD during the lockdown in 2020 to encourage myself when my husband caught covid. December 25th on NSPPD my word came that My tubes had been replaced. My faith didn't align to do another HSG until the 20th of January, when Pastor Paul Enenche preached a powerful message on faith. That day I went for the HSG and they saw two healthy fallopian tubes. Praise God.

I'm expecting a positive pregnancy test soon. Last month I had one but seems it was chemical pregnancy because the next morning, the result was negative using urine.

I Will testify this month of April. Amen!!!
