    1. TJ, truth be told, there are bad news from everywhere in the world. Ghettos residents in other countries do worst but this is not to say it is accepted or normal for it to happen. I think the local government and community should try to find a way to curb it since the state and federal security apparatus are dead and inactive. Individuals should also do more by reporting criminals, and make sure their wards are not part of it.

  6. He probably was killed in broad day light with people passing by and no one lifted a finger to help him. I love Lagos but I hate that "I dont care" attitude that lagosians have. A friend was robbed during the day in traffic at oshodi right inside her car. They broke her window with a stone, collected her personal effects and took off every jewelry she wore. People were passing by and looking and no one did anything. A couple of months back My neighbour was pulled into a sienna while waiting for her uber by the road side on her way to work at Gbagada. After taking her to atm to withdraw what they could( thankfully she has never believed in mobile banking app)they rubbed aboniki in her eyes and pushed her from the vehicle at ikeja. She was crying and begging for help and people were just walking past. It was an old security man that took pity on her and started pouring water on my eyes. Our conscience is dead in Lagos. It's very sad. RIP to the dead

    1. Our conscience is not dead, we have a way of overlooking things, we are a set of wicked hypocrites, yet blame politicians for everything
