    1. Are we not kids? Did Buhari burn the truck filled with cows that had an accident? Accident o!

Until we as Nigerians change, even Jesus Christ cannot rule this country.

  7. Great move. I am totally in support of shutting down Twitter. I think Instagram Facebook and WhatsApp should be shut down too. A lot of hate is being spread on these sites that is leading to the country heating up.

U cannot on one hand say Buhari is doing nothing and on the other hand cry about what he is doing. Nigerians need strong hand to control

    1. Ladies and Gentlemen....this anon comment 👆 is a pure case of a backward thinking Nigerian who thinks shutting down technology is progress.

Just like Buhari announcing that they are shutting down twitter on twitter!

Why not add blogs too so we don't have to read your archaic comments....ndi Ara.

    5. But you don't see the number of businesses that have been affected or would be by such bans. Social media is not just a playground for the naughty. It is a cheap and effective way to advertise especially for small businesses. They could have investigated those unsavoury tweets and fake news but instead, went on an ego trip. Nigerians really enjoy being treated like slaves.

    6. This Anon smells like Eesah. Bubu sent an hate speech, what was he expecting? This is no 1980s when he can spew shit and nothing happens. There are many ways to use Twitter just change ur country. Shebi the interior minister was complaining how youths denounce naija en mass, we just starting.
Abeg make 2023 come quick make the man go biko.

    7. Did Buhari not use this same twitter to campaign against GEJ?? They said a lot of things then too. Did they not also protest? He is in power now and does not want the citizens to hold him accountsble through the same medium. Smh.

    8. It shall not be well with you and APC Govt.
They will never use same energy to find and trace kidnapped children; when its time for dat they are clueless but withn 48hrs they can shut down twitter. What is so hard abt using the same telecomms technology to trace where these kidnappers are and rescue these poor kids.
No press conference for the Islamic school kids dat were kidnapped but press conference and swift action abt twitter.

  10. Nigerians venting on d Twitter ban as if they've a stake in it. Twitter deleted a Presidential post, not Buhari's personal message but a SOVEREIGN NATION'S PRESIDENTIAL POST. What sort of callousness is that?? Don't they have other means/protocols/backdoor means to sort this kinda issues out rather than a straight delete. Regardless of how you feel about the man on the seat at Also Rock, what Twitter did is a collective slap on the faces of Nigerians.
Also, the government is right. There are groups on same Twitter pushing a propaganda that has less to the insurrection in the southern part of the country and yet those posts are allowed to be.
Let's rest abeg. Besides, the ban is politics, except.....
