Last Saturday had been very busy and eventful and I was happy with the income I had made that day so I decided to close early by 7pm.
When I counted the money, I smiled and wished every day could be as eventful ...
On my way home, I decided to stop over at a bar to have catfish pepper soup and a drink. I usually do this once in a while, after all wahala no dey finish.

As I took my drink and waited for my fish to be served, I eavesdropped into the conversation of the two men sitting on the table with me. One of them was narrating his story to his friend and it seemed very interesting.
He complained about his wife who recently joined a religious prayer group and everything in his house had changed for worse. His wife no longer dresses well, comes back home late, hardly cooks in the house these days and most of all, refuses him s*x. All she talks about now is that their leader, who they call Papa asked them to fast and pray for 21 days, in which her husband is not supposed to come near her as she has to be kept holy.
He complained about his wife who recently joined a religious prayer group and everything in his house had changed for worse. His wife no longer dresses well, comes back home late, hardly cooks in the house these days and most of all, refuses him s*x. All she talks about now is that their leader, who they call Papa asked them to fast and pray for 21 days, in which her husband is not supposed to come near her as she has to be kept holy.
Sometimes, she fasts and prays for 10 days or 14 days as the case may be. This has been going on for the past 8 months and he was already frustrated.
He said they have been married for about 2 years now with no child, yet the wife sees nothing wrong in all she is doing. The only times she has allowed the husband access to her body is when her Papa permitted her to do so. He told his friend he is considering having a girlfriend outside or divorcing as he can no longer cope with his wife’s attitude anymore.
Some women will join Churches and let the activities there break their homes...
