  1. At a new hostel in uni then.
    I heard water running,
Went to the bathroom nobody was there, the tap was wet and warm.
    Knocks at odd hours,
    I could feel it
    It was crazy a experience.

    1. You tried even to go and check. I couldn't sleep alone in a room in Uni, location was an old cemetery ground so imaginations used to run riot then

    2. Wayback in school, I was very stingy to the pint that if I buy small chops, akara, puff puff etc I'd wait for everyone to go out before I'll bring it out from my handbag to eat. So on this fateful night, the entire compound was going to the club I was forced to join but I refused on grounds that I was sick. All na lie o. I had this yummy meat pie in my hand bag with a chilled can malt. Aunty stellz, it was a compound of 8 girls and believe me as every one left for club I personally locked the gate, came in took a shower and brought out my meat pie to devour, as I was doing my bussiness I now hear a voice from the backyard window which said "give me small nah" πŸ‘ΉπŸ‘Ί
People of God! I flung the pie and the drink and ran outside, I realized that the gate was locked I had to scale the fence to a neighbor's house. I came back in the morning and told my friends about it and I packed out of that compound.

  2. I once asked my husband to take his mom for deliverance because my mother in law seems to be the person haunting me. He laughed it off, but fr how can your mom be showing up everyday in our house without no reason, and always complaining, so yes my house is haunted Stella.

  4. Oooh I love a good haunted house story.

Never lived in one but growing up in aba, some old abandoned houses had a presence. Dunno how to explain it but whenever I passed by those houses, I feel some type of energy like someone is calling out to me or watching me so I always run swiftly past them.

    1. Me too, even when I choose horror movies to watch I always gravitate towards haunted house movies.

I lived in a haunted apartment and it was an interesting experience. This world is more than our senses show us.

    3. Anon 15:21...no vex...oyah come make I finish am.

When I got the lady's house, it was so bad that I had to bend a bit in order to go into that house but sincerely the lady was so pretty and hygienic.

We exchanged pleasantries and I was feeling at home(but scared), not up to 10minutes, the nonsense deadly animal came disturbing, I asked her what was making noise and she said may be it's a rat.

We began to put the ghana must go bags away from there normal position to see the rat, but the ugly face met our eyes..God, it was a snake,we both ran outside then I told her to get me kerosene, which I poured in all corners of the room because the snake had then hidden itself in another area but with the help of the kerosene, we were able to know the hidden spot and we killed it.

I never bothered to sleep in that house ooo, I pretended to her and told her I need to see a friend, that was how I jaapaa. She was so angry with me because I didn't even bother to call her when I went back to my campus very early the next day

    6. My father’s house is haunted, once it is past midnight, we keep hearing footsteps.
At first, when my younger brother told me, I waved it off as his imagination but the day I heard it with my two ears, my heart nearly left my body.
It feels like someone keeps passing through the corridor and we were the only ones living in the house at the time, a two storey building with 5 empty flats occupied by myself, my dad and my kid brother.

The story is long but let me stop here, haunted houses are real.

  6. Yes I experienced it after my grandma death. One afternoon I wanted to cook yam for lunch. I arranged the woods then discovered that our kerosene had finished, I had no money to buy some. So I went over the fenceto check if our neighbors were around to collect some from them but they had gone to the farm. I went inside to search a little purse my grandma usually put coins and small naira notes, but I found non. I decided to wait for my mom to return so sat on a bench near the kitchen playing ncho game with my little sister. Next thing I noticed was a blazing fire. I knew my grandma did it cos I felt a cold breeze around me.will complete later

    1. Your grandmother is a nice woman, my own grandmother is a witch, she died 7 times before she finally died after prayers. So one day a cousin of ours we barely knew died, a final year medical student. So my parents went for the wake keep and left my sister and I home alone. So around 10 PM Nepa took light, we lit the lamp for grandma, then move to our own sitting room and lit our own lamp. We were so afraid of staying so we ain't sleeping at all. Then around 1AM we heard a sound like fuuu fuuu as if someone wants to blow off our lamp ,next thing our lamp went off, we scampered for the matched6that was right beside the lamp but we couldn't find it. We decided to go our grandma to lit up our lamp, as we are approaching the her door, we heard her laugh so hard, like hahahaha hahaha. How could she have know we're coming to her room at that hour. Well we ran towards our house, luckily we saw one of our uncle and narrated what had just happened. The man went to that night and scolded her for even trying to scare or harm her very one grandchildren. So many stories about my grandmother is very scary even the day she died, she requested for a well known witch doctor but the man said it's her time that he won't extend it any longer. She died seven times but God pass her

  7. Late 90s living in a bungalow with my elder sister, some beings used to visit (-I know they are spiritual beings because they enter the house when the whole doors are locked and I and my sister will be sleeping.) Immediately we moved in there, I was moved to begin a 6-6PM fast and study my scriptures. So we were having night vigils between 12am to 4am every night. They began complaining that we were "disturbing them..." They will appear and disappear etc. Okay, the "heat" continued, two more had joined us in prayers. Initially, it was wrestling. I still do not understand how the strength came but we were always defeating them. Whenever it gets tough, we will shout "Jesus" and they will be bolted away; just like a whirlwind comes to ferry them away.

These continued for some weeks and eventually stopped. Later we learnt that the place was used in the olden days to sacrifice human beings. Do you know that since we left that place (on transfer), nobody has been able to live there. I really wonder why? But now, I understand that a businessman who is a believer has acquired the place to re-build it to a business premises. All it takes is to know the Lord, pray and fast and that's it.

  8. Mine was a hotel room. I was praying and I was there on a revival program and I was waiting for my colleague to arrive on the third day. I purposely
came earlier to spend some time in prayer because I was really busy in my business. A snake appeared on the second day and I began to rebuke it in Jesus name. It then turned to a human being, a man with a red hot angry face. "Why are you people troubling us, why can't you people just leave us alone and let's be" He spoke in my native dialect, even thought that's not the language of the area. I continued to rebuke it in Jesus name and he vanished.
When my mate arrived, I noticed that she also had a similar experience of seeing a similar snake, though it did not change to human.

  9. I stayed in one house called Muslim villa in my uni days and a Muslim boy also came to let a room there, i don't know d arrangements between him and the owner of the house to be singing this Muslim song Allah waku ba..morning and night and the 3rd day another neighbour going to urinate saw a python lying in his door step, the lady started shouting ejo ejo, kareem don't come out oo, two of us in my room climb ontop of my small wardrobe then and was shaking till day break.
The lady said she ran out of the street some men of the area came and saw the snake still there took to their heels. I ran to hostel and never went back to that house again. The boy was hospitalised for some days because he passed out and his family came to take him out of the town.

  10. There's this abandoned 2 or 3 storey building located at okwuta by Bende rd umuahia. It was said that occupants vacated the flats due to the endless sounds of mortar being pounded every midnight from the foundation of the building. It's been years and no single soul lives in the block of flats even though it is strategically located

  11. Lived in one and parked out in June2019,the house was a clean self contain, with running water and nice facilities, but it wasn't where you want to sleep in at night. Everyday once is 12 midnight, things will be falling on the roof like heavy stones being dropped from the sky,you would hear the object roll, but you will never hear it drop to the ground or is it when you wake up to pray, you will see your door shaking violently like some one wants to open it violently from outside or when my younger brother sleeps and wakes up with deep scratches all over his neck. One particular night I woke up to see my younger brother choking for breath, I could see him being strangled and gasping for breath, but couldn't see who was strangulating him, the owner of the house is a so called pastor that never attends any church, we complained to the pastor severally, but he said it was lizards that land on the roof every 12 midnight, it never misses a day under rain or sun, my brother began falling sick,we went for all the medical test and nothing was found wrong with him,if you had money and you were in that house, strange things will happen till you exhaust the money totally and start borrowing, we eventually overcame these incidents with prayers,my advise to those living in a haunted house, please leave the house as fast as you can,run for your dear life, you might not be lucky like me and my brother.
