  5. Been craving ofada sauce and rice. Which I woke up as early as 6am to cook. I just don't understand why this locust beans is smelling this way. Is it supposed to smell rotten? I just bought it yesterday and I noticed it in the market after I'd left where I bought it. I had to wash it twice today before putting it into the sauce. The sauce is very delicious by the way. But Abeg is locust beans supposed to smell rotten?

    2. Locust beans smell is not pleasant anyway. But to avoid having doubts, you could get someone who prepares it well and buy in bulk. It doesn’t spoil as long as you preserve it well.
