ReplyDeleteWhat I don't get is, after proposing to the man, is he still supposed to pay brideprice or the girl will now pay groomprice? Becox if you have decided to do oyinbo copy copy and can't wait for the norm to happen i.e. for the man to propose to you (out of fear of him being snatched or no brain reset button)-- then the woman should get ready to play reverse roles with no qualms...afterall you nor gree make man use him mind propose to you. The woman must carry her people to go and see his people, she must take care of the man and provide all his needs. She must provide a roof for them and get them comfortable. She must not complain o. She must pay for the wedding and pay the bills when they get married. Abi which kin wahala is that? There's this older lady I know that said if she had a choice she would not have married Nigerian man because she had to basically drag her husband's hand n pressure him to marry her n according to her many Nigerian men are non committal. . They seem happy enough n I'm not in their marriage but 4 her to make that statement in front of her husband
