    1. It is not tradition, it is the accepted norm nowadays.
Tradition actually frowns against pre marital tasting

  5. "Marriage is honorable when the bed undefiled" Truth but e no easy but I believe it's possible. A quick question. Can someone really know they're impotent or have a low sperm count if they are not having sex? Abeg na question I asked oooh.

    1. Best you go for fertility test. Besides some men know they're impotent and keep pushing blames on the women

    2. Even if you’re having sex, you won’t know if you have low sperm count, except you’re trying to have a child without success and you go for a fertility test.
If you’re not having sex and don’t have pre existing health issues or addictions to masturbation ( which will naturally arise from addiction to viewing porn and could lead to erectile dysfunction ), then it’s not likely that you would fall prey to impotence and have nothing to confess to a future partner.
      Carry go.

    3. You can only know when u go for semen analysis

    4. Since most men have morning erections, if you are not having them then that should be the sign of impotence.
Nobody will know about low sperm count until they try to procreate and have difficulties.

Drinking onion juice is believed to increase sperm production. But I doubt few men can handle this.

    5. Regular consumption of alcohol or smoking will quicker lead to erectile problems than masturbation. Eating feminizing foods like soy and soy byproucts. Using beauty and hygiene products that have estrogenic compounds can lead to impotence. Plastics, and plastics heated. I wouldn't be surprised if microwave energy from wifi and cellphone towers as well as microwave ovens don't cause harm too.

  6. This trend of allowing humans to interprete God for u is the reason they continue to milk us. A book done years ago. And your religion is telling u someone else has to interprete for u. That has no equality and is flawed. Go and understand life again

  7. The way formication has been normalized is really mind blowing. Like you’d see people “on fire” for Christ, always posting Bible quotes on their status, go for all sorts of church programs and are just very committed to being a good Christian but then they constantly fornicate like it’s no big deal.
Not judging them or implying that their spirituality is fake, but it’s just really surprising how pre marital sex is one of those sins that people now engage in and think it’s really not such a big deal anymore.

  8. He is correct but then, it's for the brave. There's this programme on TLC "married at first sight" where marriages are arranged and they meet for the first time and marry at the altar. Wow! Some wax stronger and succeed while some don't but give it to them; they are BRAVE.

From personal experience, I will never advice it.

  9. So when the man has broken the law of truthfulness what are the consequences? He simply confesses his sins believes he is forgiven and the woman is stuck with him for life because 'God hates divorce'?

Many ppl cannot marry as virgins because they have been raped, sexually abused as children, trafficked into sex and forced prostitution, or forced child marriages. Millions and millions are not virgins because of this and cannot marry as virgins, what of them? Your words need to come into alignment with the practical realities of life. The church needs to start becoming socially conscious and stop making these blanket statements like all who are not virgins chose it. Find better words and ways of expressing your theology without isolating whole groups and making ppl feel excluded or diminshed because of their trauma.

    1. Thank you. Meanwhile, Wetin be law of truthfulness again? This pastor has a thing for catchphrases.

    2. The Bible says God looks at the heart. Considering it from that perspective, u need not be told that the categories of ppl u mentioned, such as those raped cannot be held accountable for what they had no power to control. The 'bed' is defiled by those who engage in sin of their own volition and
without remorse. The Church does not have to and WILL NOT change its doctrines to suit anybody or any time. It's teachings are not derived from secular texts that undergo revision from time to time. The Church teaches the Word of God which is never changing.

    3. @anon4:10, you just don't get it. Yes, it needs to be told. You know how many rape victim and sex abuse victim live with shame and feeling dirty and tainted. You know what words like what that pastor has written do to their mental state? They need to be told. Words matter in life, that is why your life is governed by words printed in a book, if words didn't matter then why would you be quoting the Bible? So every time a pastor brings up virginity, they need to make mention that those who are not virgins through sex abuse are also virgins. Imagine if a pastor was to say that, imagine the difference it would make in those ppl's life to remind them that they are included. This is the work of empathy and compassion and so few get it. So very few. Why was Jesus hated so much? Because he went against the words of the law of the Jewish books and he taught against those words which excluded many ppl from having full lives. He gave ppl their dignity back despite what the law of the land or the religious laws stated. And he did it mostly with words, so whomever you are, words do matter and speaking up for the voiceless matters and including those who were raped and victims of sex abuse into the lauded group of virgins matters, because they are technically virgins, they never chose to have intercourse it was forced on the. So let all pastors start calling them virgins too and including them. Be clear, be specific!

    4. some if you like to argue where there is non...the church will not change doctrines and be forced to be politically correct...where have you heard a pastor say a woman who was disvirgined by rape is to be blamed for not being a virgin? any right thinking person knows that and we all know that he is referring to people who have consciously decided to have sex before marriage. it is not every lecture the church gives that will be captured into a one page caption on social media. a lot of these things are thought in youth fellowships, single meetings, premarital counseling and all. any one who was raped or trafficked and got disvirgend who feels attacked at not being a virgin needs to first forgive themselves and let God love them. once they accept his love they will never feel judged and guilty. ..funny how people must look for holes to pick in the word of God always, the message here is straightforward...

  10. This topic is rather too sensitive. Some folks believe in chastity, some don't. But then, in marriage, what happens when there is no sexual compatibility? Mentors and elders should be able to teach this and guide younger folks. As a woman, If you follow plenty advice for this blog, you go buy Dildo tire.
That being said, I don't know how a man would know he is impotent if he has not engaged in sexual relations. For us that are virgins, heaven is the goal. Thank you!

    1. Yes, elders should be able to guide better, but they lack knowledge and wisdom most time, with many so full of judgment they are not fit to guide anyone.

For example, around the time of ovulation the urge to have sex is increased in many menstruating girls and women. In some ppl the drive can be excrutiatingly intense. Yet, most menstruating girls are not sat down with by their mother or guardian to learn about their biological drives and how they can overcome it. Instead they are simply taught that if they have sex underaged or unmarried then they are bad. But they lack awareness of their biology, how nature has wired them, and why they feel the way they do, which there should be no shame attached to. So when they become teen mothers they are seen as a pariah in the society instead of a teen who lacked knowledge about her body and how to overcome those biological impulses, which is totally nature's own design.

Na to sit back dey yarn 'elder no sabi, na we wey woke' because the world has been standing still waiting for ur generation to land with all the answers, abi? U guys are funny.

    4. @4:26, yawwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. You are obviously a part of the problem and not the solution. What have you stated that will add anything of value. You think pointing fingers and making accusations add to anything. At least the comment up there is educational and someone somewhere will get some knowledge from it. Not one reader will gain anything from what you have written, not one. Learn to add value to life, and make your words and yourself useful to someone.

  13. How does the baby in the womb know; where breasts are, how to suck them and the taste of the mother's breasts?
She is born and just begins to suckle on the breasts.
Supposing after tasting and it is "good," and after marrying the man actually becomes impotent, what happens?
These are the tragedies of people who think that they are wiser than "the only wise God" (search this quote)

  14. Good to know. So that after marriage if the wife finds out the man has erectile dysfunction, Jesus will come down from heaven to fix it. Bible is 2000 years. Even Constitutions get amendments to catch up with time else many atrocities of the world would not had been abolished.

    2. Very dry jokes.

Obviously u didn't even read what the Pastor said; neither do u seem to grasp the concept of FAITH, which a Christian ought to excercise in matters like this.

Nevertheless, Bible is not ur secular constitution. It is Living Word. It changes u; u don't change it. Peace.
