Love, loneliness or konji? What category does compound fall in?
Most times there is no light so I just sit outside the door in the shadows thinking about when Nepa will bring light or generator will appear and start running by itself. As I sit there in the dark, I see movements and my amebo eyes and ears get to work.
There are two people that I have been watching since Covid and now I think it could have been love, because right now it has come to an end.
Guy is single and handsome, lives well but has a live-in lover everyone calls iyawo, Babe is single lives well too but I haven’t seen her with a man since she moved in. We all have each other’s number so I guess they must have been talking and chatting.
Live-in lover got stuck in her state during lock down so Babe next door started going to keep him company vice versa. They sneaked around during the night and giggled past my window kissing. lol
Lock down over, Live-in-lover came back and I started hearing noise between the couples everyday. One day Guy stormed out and guess where he went to? Babe’s apartment. Live-in-lover followed and I followed too. Stopped her to ask why the noise, then she spilled.
She saw their chats and confronted Guy, he didn’t deny it and didn’t apologize ha! What effrontery? Then we saw Guy coming back apparently Babe did not open door for him. E be like say that one no plan that wahala.
Live-in-lover left the next day and the two love birds continued openly with their love. Jeezzzz tongues wagged but they didn’t care. They went on about for months until one day Live-in-lover came back. Ghen ghen
Shameless guy was still shuttling, after a while I didn’t see him pass again, then Babe was always looking sad. Eyaa she don collect breakfast.
I didn’t see the couple for some time then one day I saw a van picking up their stuff and the couple all over each other. awwwww
Guy got a student visa and made Live-in-lover a dependent. Them don go Obodoyinbo. I feel very sorry for babe because she is no longer her bubbly self. I saw her and told her she will find her own and she burst into tears ha! Me wey dey comfort you shey I get man? Lets go and drink beer joor all of us don chop breakfast.

As for the guy, if he try this nonsense for Abroad, dem go treat him fuck up.

Konji dey: In the students' lodge I live in, I observed that majority of the girls are fuckable. ReplyDeleteAlara thank you has been served full British but I think that kind of infidelity can be a very dangerous precedent for any relationship. The live-in lovers have a lot to deal with if they are headed for the aisle as abroad doesn't solve foundational issues in relationships.
