There are also reports that the Terrorists are demanding a N100m ransom for each of the 43 abducted Kaduna train passengers, who are still in their custody. The demand was communicated to the families of the hostages last week.

I remember how we were stranded in the Bush for hours in the night when the 6pm train from kaduna to abuja on the 26th of June 2021. It was the most terrifying experience of my life. Thank God d terrorists did not strike that day! 🙏
ReplyDeletesorry for your experience but i don't think we understand what you wrote.
DeleteThank God for your testimony. May God continue to protect and guide you.

ReplyDeleteMy country my naija
ReplyDeleteWhaaat? Those evil men just hammered ! Please be careful of your environment! These people act on information!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, the lie they always tell us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a case of "from joro to joro"
With this kind of reported ransom payments, will the armed forces ever be able to quell the terrorists?
ReplyDeleteWho do you think are the terrorist?
DeleteInu ile ni aseni n gbe.
DeleteGood business. At least they will share it with those working with them
ReplyDeleteA prominent 1st and 2nd republic politician warned then about the consequences of the neglect of the talakawas. During the President Jonathan years the Northern politicians again saw the matter only as campaign material. Northern politicians were focused only on their votes and power. Have the chickens come to roost?
ReplyDeleteKidnappers having full control in Nigeria . I weep for Nigeria and wished for the Nigeria I knew when I was a kid

ReplyDeleteHave we stopped to think what these terrorist need these huge sums of money for? Expensive vacations, private jets, mansion residents? No, it weapons. And more sophisticated weapons. For what? I shiver to think it.
ReplyDeleteExactly Ms Sapphire. The Boko Haram need fund, and this is one of the fastest way of getting it.
DeleteNothing but weapons you got it. The Lord frausters the devices of the wicked.
DeleteThey are working for politicians
DeleteI don't support this ransom settlement.
ReplyDeleteThey would have used all that money to employ good security machineries.
All I see is them enabling these terrorists for more kidnappings.
Naija oo.
If your family was amongst you wont still support it abi? You will rather they rot and die there.
DeleteWho do you think paid the 800m? Their families came up with the money and not Govt.....so is it their family that will hire good security machineries?
Govt has folded their hands and done nothn and these ppl need their loved ones back alive. Many are their families bread-winners and backbone.
And they will make you feel "Cornflakes for jihad" was a ruse.
ReplyDeleteIf this is not organized crime, then I don't know.
No investigation based on that article from agencies or the parliament. Bank of industry rather continues to furnish the company with loans. CRUISE......
DeleteKidnapping is now like the infamous Italian Mafia, Sicilian mafia, La Cosa Nostra. On their Kaduna Train kidnap wicked project alone they raked in N1billion plus. There must be a section of goverment in on this just like with most elaborate criminal ventures on this scale. I hope the kidnappings are not fundraising projects for a jihad
ReplyDeleteThis kidnapping trend is only gonna increase because they are really cashing out and no serious efforts to rescue the kidnapped. Ordinary poor citizens are raising 100s of millions to pay for ransom then this kidnappers will start picking us from the streets.
