  1. Recognize And Affirm Your Divinity!!
    John 3:16.

    Excerpts!!

"The one who's born again is a new creation; he or she has the life and nature of God. Being born again, your human life was supplanted by the life and nature of God. Now your body houses a new type of life that's unsusceptible and impregnable to sickness or disease"

"Learn to activate the divine life within you by declaring and personalising the Word of God"

"Recognize and affirm your divinity; practise it"

    Prayer!!

Thank you, righteous Father, for your life in me; I'm divine; born to reign and rule in this world! My life is the testimony of your grace, glory and greatness. I'm blessed and the dispenser of your blessings and goodness, in Jesus' Name
    Amen.

    Further Study:
    Philemon 1:6; Pslams 87:3; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13.

  2. Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for the blessings of seeing another Monday morning.
Father let this day be of favor to us and whatever we plan to do, be exceptionally good in Jesus name πŸ™
Psalm 90:14 says :Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Father cleanse us of anything that is displeasing to you and renew our body and soul as we worship you alone in Jesus name πŸ™
Lord send your angels to guard over us throughout this week, as you lead us into our divine purposes in Jesus name πŸ™
GOOD MORNING πŸŒ… MY SDK FAMILY

  3. HANDLING DISAPPOINTMENT

'Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.' Proverbs 24:16 NIV

For the next few days, let's look at five different types of disappointment.
    (1) Disappointment in yourself. This is the most debilitating kind of disappointment because it can put you into a downward spiral that's hard to recover from. Peter experienced it. He swore loyalty to Christ saying, 'Everyone else may abandon you but not me. I'm yours until death' (see Matthew 26:33)! Yet he denied Christ three times. Later he remembered Christ's words: 'Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times' (Matthew 26:34 NIV). Peter, heartbroken by his failure, 'went outside and wept bitterly' (Luke 22:62 NIV).
Maybe you're thinking, 'Lord, how could you use someone like me?' Jesus wasn't shocked. He was aware of Peter's flaws when he called him. But he also knew that his outspoken disciple had a tender heart, so he chose to extend grace to him rather than cast him aside. When Christ gave his post-resurrection orders to 'tell his disciples and Peter' to meet him in Galilee, he reaffirmed his choice of his failed disciple (see Mark 16:7). The rest of Peter's story is one of victory.
So when you sin, or fail and disappoint yourself:
    (1) Humble yourself and repent. Confess your sin; don't excuse, rationalise or blame circumstances and people.
    (2) Receive God's grace and forgiveness by faith, not feelings. Don't let Satan convince you that you are beyond God's reach and grace. You're not.
    (3) Don't add insult to injury by letting disappointment mire you in hopelessness and despair.
    (4) Get the help you need to get back on track - sooner, not later.
    Word For Today

I left cos I’m not use to it. The state I reside, Benue ( welfare qtrs ) there’s light 24/7 except there’s national gridlock or transformer issues. It was so strange staying there without light.

We have been burning fuel for charging of phone pump water. I cant even remember the last time I wore ironed clothes.i wear the ones that don't need tonbe ironed.
The Transformer spoilt. NEPA took it for repair and didn't return. They said it cannot be repaired so to get a new one we have to raise 6.5 million naira. I reside in Ikorodu, one of the small companies there.
The money was shared 10 thousand naira per house.

They brought a new Transformer last two weeks, and it is yet to be connected because they say the Cable is missing. . Its a very sad ordeal

Turkey is fine too @game mistress but I easily get tired of eating it. I can barely finish one big wing

Yes it is nutritious and healthy especially without the skin @Dreza

Did I see duck meat up there? Duck as in pepeye?😱
Jessi, eat your duck alone abeg. That meat has this disgusting smell that refuses to leave the pot even after weeks of cooking it. I cooked it once and only one time. Before then, I ate it as a kid in a neighbour's house during Christmas. I noticed the smell back then but I thought it was from the stew, not until someone gifted me one and I cooked it myself.

So I finally cooked Igbo egusi. I used to wonder how they cook theirs to make water disappear from it and it has unique taste, I never knew they add achi or ofor or any other thickener to it. So I asked an Igbo colleague to tell me how they do it and boom! My delicious Igbo egusi was set.
I added achi as thickener to mine in addition to oporoko, smoked fish, pomo, crayfish, etc. I also added ugu and oziza leaves. I cooked it with less than 3k, all the above in small quantities, very delicious. I will use it to eat rice this morning.
Next soup I want to try is Nsala soup.

    3. You just reminded me of the day I cooked vegetable soup using ugu and water leaves. Mum did not eat it, she said the leaves were not soft enough that I did not put pottash or parboil it a little like eforiro. I tried to convince her that the vegetables that are not overcooked are the best, she no hear. Since then, I cook only small quantity if I want to cook any soup that she is not used to, like igbo soups

    6. I don't understand this type of egusi soup that requires achi or any type of thickener. Thickeners are used for a different kind of soup like onugbu, oha,Achara or ofe Owerri. Igbo egusi doesn't and will never require a thickener.

      Delete
    7. Ak047 say what you are sure of pls, see you saying never. You are not the only igbo tribe in Nigeria. You can add thickener to Igbo egusi if you wish, it gives it a different taste and also adds to the thickness.. I'm igbo btw
