AIT’s Founder Raymond Dokpesi Reportedly Dies In Abuja

Raymond Dokpesi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and founder, DAAR Communications plc, has died at the age of 71.

A family member confirmed this to THE WHISTLER on Monday, saying the media mogul died at a hospital in Abuja.
According to the family source who doesn’t want to be mentioned, Dokpesi had suffered a stroke shortly after the recent Ramadan fast and had been managing his health since.

The family source told THE WHISTLER that Dokpesi was eventually placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities through working out at the gym.

The source said during one of his routine gym exercises, Dokpesi was electrocuted while using one of the gym equipment, leading to stroke and his eventual death.
The Dokpesi family is expected to issue a statement on the development soon.

    1. This life ehn, see how they eventually made sure he died. Evil people.
Be careful when you join politics in Nigeria, you all laugh during the day but you don't know where each and everyone go to at night.
He made an impact in life.
May his soul rest in perfect peace and may God watch over all he left behind.

    2. It's the people close to one that can harm one easily. May God disassociate every evil friend or family member from us all.
The family has not released a statement yet but an evil family member that will know no peace has already given the family away.
      Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeew 😏.
May his soul rest in peace

    1. Exactly the thought that came into my heart. Not too long his property was seized in Rivers state by ex Gov. Nyesom Wike as a result of his affiliation with Atiku.

I pray his soul find rest.

    2. When his firm didn't pay dividends for over ten years while he was making heavy money from political adverts and propaganda, who troubled him as he troubled those who relied on those dividends for their retirements and businesses? May God rest the dead.

  22. With family members like this, you do not need any enemy at all .How can this information be leaked to the press? Who is interested in how he died? I was shocked when I heard he fell from a gym equipment this morning? Imagine how far the news has travelled round the world? People are no more sensitive to each other.
