Social Media Talk Show Host Freeze Talks About Shocking Reason He Stopped Attending Church

 Na wah ooooo........

Online talk show host Freeze, has disclosed that he stopped attending church after his pastor expelled him from sitting in the front row after his divorce.

Freeze said, “My marriage had always been troubled and in 2014 it came to an end. And I remember I used to do events in my church. The church minister used to pay me then to do events which I celebrated. At least, the pastor was not eating all the money, he was sharing with the people who were working.

“I was booked for an event that I used to do for the church, and I got a call that I should cancel it because of my divorce or pending divorce drama. And I was like, ‘Because I’m going through a divorce does that remove God from me?’ I questioned that too.

“Then the pastor came to my house and we had a conversation. He was like, ‘I’m not telling you not to come to the church but when you come to the church, sit at the back.’ And I was like what’s all this? So, that made me sit at home on Sundays. Instead of going to church and hiding, is it not better that I sit at home?
“So, sitting at home on Sundays now started feeding the holes in my brain.”

    4. He doesn't want to be cautioned, does he want the pastor to pamper him thereby encouraging divorce in the church especially if it wasn't on the grounds of Adultery

    5. So he should be relegated to the back seat to avoid encouraging divorce? You're a complete idiot. Judgemental folks like you won't make it to heaven

  2. No wonder he's bitter.

But why not take out your grievance with your pastor and stop persecuting the church.

  3. I am not surprised at all, Most Pentecostal church will do that why people prefer to die in the abusive marriage than come out and be embarrass by world people.

  5. My mom was made to sit at the back too, for attending her niece's wedding. The neice refused to marry someone(recommended by the pastor) within the church, hence the anger of the pastor. Dear momma dumped them and moved.

  6. you should have at least do the sitting at the back for a while and then you meet with panel before you can start performing all your activities based on your church doctrine. You people should understand that a church is not a place that one should behave as they like but there are rules and regulations guiding each church. Belong to the one their doctrine suit you, read their doctrine and understand it. Don't come crying when you default or when they deicide to discipline you.

    2. So because he is having a divorce he should be disciplined and made to sit at the back? Are you guys for REAL?
I have a question, what of the pastors/ministers that get divorced? Are they made to sit at the naughty corners? Can they suck their thumbs while at it?

    3. What his church did was outright segregation and judgement.i wouldn’t go to that kind of church too if they did something like that to me.

    4. E courtesy is right.

And I believe the backseat that the pastor meant is not the last seat at the church's back door. It could be that he should seat among the congregation. Maybe he wasn't seating where the pastors normally seat, but since he is having marital crisis, he should be restricted from conducting anything in the church 'for the main time' . I see nothing wrong with that. There are babies who still feed on spiritual milk and the church needs to put such people into consideration when allowing certain things in their church.

Slim, answer disco's question about pastors that are divorced. Some of you are just plain mean and use church to cover your wickedness

    7. The main reason he was told to sit at back was to send a message to brethen in the church to desist from from divorcing their spouses, again to learn the act of total conencration to the the church as a whole. Whether the process was right or not is left for God to judge but it is left for the church as a body of Christ to reject divorce among ministers of the gospel and will wish you die there or leave the church quietly without.anyone knowing about their divorce

We have to hear both side to conclude.
But it is obvious the church didn't hate him and obvious d rule would have been applicable to every member of the church.

Every church has its principles and guidelines peculiar to them.
Same as every circular organisation too. So why should it be bent for him only?
In his house doesn't he have principles guiding his home?
Where there are no guiding principles, people run mad.
The Pastor even took his time to come to his house and make him reason things. That's really a good pastor.

So contrary to his sermon, this pastor and church were not interested in his tithes and offerings, rather his soul. That's why they tried removing him from all activities so he can have a sober reflection.

Well, the church didn't loose. But you. You allowed d devil tske charge over your heart and now you are working for him; leading many astray with your heresies .

May God have mercy on your soul and I pray you find your way back to Christ before it becomes too late.

  8. Is divorce something to be celebrated by the church?
That was their church policy, and he should not be an exception. I celebrate the pastor for not being intimidated by Freeze status.

Since freeze left chuch, has the church closed? NO! The Church of God will match on, and the gates of hell will not prevail.

    QED.

  9. What people have failed to realise is that a lot of people who call themselves pastors and men of god DO NOT know much about GOD or the things of GOD. They are not well informed on the job they are doing and people will be running after them not realising that they may even know more than the so called pastors they are running after. Even in handling issues that come up amongst their members a lot of them are daft, what they do is copycat, follow, follow that's what they do. A lot of them are not called by GOD.

    1. So what are you insinuating that the pastor would have done after hearing that a leader in his church is facing family marital crisis . Should he have been allowed to continue leading the church even with the bad news coming from the home?

    2. Slim shady what happened to other pastors that are divorced who still lead the church? Get your judgemental ass out of here

    3. I have seen pastors face thesame discipline . Would you rather he continues leading the congregation where most church members are not strong in faith even with the bad news coming from his home that the baby christians may be aware of?

  10. This is a disciplinary custom in most Pentecostal churches.

During my service year, the pastor of the local church got one of the choir member pregnant. The pastor was told to stop preaching and start sitting at the back as a sign of remorse and repentance while they plan their wedding (they were already dating before the pregnancy). Due to pride and shame, the pastor left and opened his own church within the community and started visiting and inviting me and my fellow corp members to start attending his church. Each of us pay our tithes in the church and he knew it was much. He didn't realize the other senior pastor has already told us what happened. When we didn't attend his church, he started keeping malice with us. We laughed at the illiterate man, who could barely express himself. We were just attending because no other church in the village.

  13. I know the only biblical ground for divorce is sexual immorality (Matthew 19:9). So if a Christian divorces his/her spouse on any other ground other than sexual immorality, the supposed divorce is null and void in the eyes of God. So the church may have been right by withdrawing privileges he enjoyed from him, which is scriptural, because his divorce was not as a result of immortality. But this asking him to sit at the back, or asking him not to even come to service, is totally unchristian. After all, if sinners are chased away from worshipping at the house of God, where then can they retrace their wandering steps?
As an aside, so Freeze has a personal grudge with a "man of God", but chose to embark on a vendetta mission against all Pentecostal churches and their pastors. So so unchristian.

  15. That's what happens when you elevate the man on the pulpit to godlike. The same way they'll tell a woman going through DV and abuses to work on her marriage.

Church doctrine these days is Pastor personified. That's the reason why you should read and know your Bible.

  16. That's why people die in horrible marriages just to please the public

  17. Daddy Freeze left church because of his pride. The Pastor did the right thing. You cannot eat your cake and have it. If you can't manage you home, how would you manage the church of God?

1 Timothy 3:12 says 'A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well. 13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.'

By Deacon here, the scripture means a church leader or worker. So, his Pastor was right. What example would he have given to the members? A lot is involved in being a leader in the church.

  18. They probably did this due to the circumstances of the divorce. There was a lot of controversy. I have some insight , the ex wife is a close friend of a friend.

  19. Church is for weak people who are psychologically weak to stand on their own and face life challenges. They are made to rely on others for support who codedly milk them of their hard-earned money. The beauty of it is that they are happy being sheep believing that it is working for them

    ReplyDelete
  20. God used Freeze to open the eyes of many people to the heresy of tithing for people under grace and the Simony being practiced by businesses called churches.

I will not hold brief for his ex but from what he had revealed about his flexible morality when married to her, he was more at fault and brought out the worst in her. It's easy to show pictures of physical injuries but what pictures can she show about a man mentally turning her into something else with countless betrayals.

I wish both of them the best going forward and I wish Freeze wisdom so he doesn't keep following the flashiest car, house or wristwatch into embarrassing situations.

  21. Can't believe people are actually supporting the pastor's actions. Y'all sick aswear!

  22. You see this kind of treatment is the reason why we have a lot of fetal cases of Domestic abuse. People are afraid of what people would say especially their church members so they rather stay in such marriages instead of them to be shamed or being made to feel inadequate. How Many of such cases have we seen in churches were one spouse would die because of domestic abuse. Instead of getting divorced, they die there. And from the way so many people are commenting here, we will still have a lot of fetal cases in marriages. So he is a child that should be corrected and punished for getting divorced?? It’s alright. Una well done o.. Kai!!! When Osinachi died, so many of you here were shouting and cursing her husband and even calling out pastor Eneche but because it’s Freeze, who so many of us don’t like the way he talks, then it’s ok to be treated anyhow. Shior
