She said she has been paying the school fees for their children since February, (which is about $850 per month) on her own.
Justin, filed for spousal support and tried to have full custody of their two children, June and Athena, but was denied by a judge .
Korra also revealed that she got to know that Justin stopped paying child support as far back as July when she got a message from the school threatening to expel June which in turn made her to clear up all the debts which spanned till the end of the year.Na so school fees cost for America?????
Justin should try and pay.
ReplyDeleteKorra take him to court or welfare.
Korra loves attention shall.
They are still your kids now. Please learn to ignore him. Just pray to have what you can give to your kids.
ReplyDeleteNa talk be this? And gets to enjoy the kids aswell. Kojoor! Mine didn't pay last term, I singlehandedly paid more 300k. Now, it is Christmas period, he sent 20k for one child cloth and saying he will send another same amount for the other child later just because he wants them to come spend this season with him, No way! He should go to lagos state welfare, I will meet him there. I'm too busy to go there. I asked him to pay school fees and let me feed them but he refused because I don't want to come back to him. He'll celebrate Christmas alone. I always let him have them on any weekend he request for them and Christmas season but I would stop until he start paying their fee.
DeleteHow can she ignore him when he's not paying his part of the children school fees? The other day, we all here were telling Dotun's ex to allow him have access to the kids, it's his right. E no good say pesin dey enjoy im right but to perform his duties and responsibilities kon become problem, e no good at all.
DeleteCan't be ignored oh. She should go back to court or put them in public school abi na daycare she mean?
DeleteBoth daycare and “public” schools in the US are very expensive.

ReplyDeletePlease don't be a dead beat father even,if you're a lousy husband. ššš
ReplyDeleteI pay £1980 per month for my 2 year old to attend nursery.
ReplyDeleteYes you read well, it is not a mistake.
God help us all.
Thank you o. It’s only naijas that pray for quads or triplets. Japanese, S Korean and now American women are reluctant to even have one. Deliberately. It’s expensive. The US government estimates the cost of raising a child up to the age 18 in comfort/adequate provision to be $300k per child up to age 18 years. It may be about half of that in reality as you pay for everything except what God gives us free. Up to 18 when college starts. If your relative sends you $50 be thankful. There is a lot they can do with the money. Life is not a cakewalk anywhere. When my children were growing I used to spend up to $5k or more per year on groceries in Costco, getting my membership free due to their % return cash on how much you spend.
DeleteIt’s tougher in these countries because there is no family house, no relative to help you and your neighbors are walking. It may be easier in areas where there are Naija Grandmas who will take much less if you are willing to put your babies in their care. Many are not and she definitely cannot because her husband will raise hell and may get both her and the Grandma in jail.
Drag him to court Korra, let the two of you share bills no be only you born them
ReplyDeleteStop telling her to go to court. Let them be.
DeleteIt's not like he cannot foot the bills, Most bitter and scorned Men like this do so to get back at the woman.
ReplyDeleteNa your problem nothing concerns me , forever married
ReplyDeleteSo school cost like this for America? Hian
ReplyDeleteAfter all the wahala this guy made this lady go through he still not responsible. Make God no allow person use him hand carry bad thing in the name of husband.
ReplyDeleteNa so school fees for good schools cost for America o. Some say schools are “free” when they rent because they are not the ones paying the School portion of property taxes. Some of us pay up to is $18k per year property tax, with some neighbors paying up to $25k PT per year, a third to half goes to schools from several affluent homes so imagine the funds available to the schools.
ReplyDeleteSchool is not free, unless you are a renter or in the ghetto. Even a renter in an affluent neighborhood has it added to their rent so they pay higher rent. The high income neighborhoods fight section 8 housing (goverment subsidized housing) to stop it from being in their areas due to loss in tax revenue. One parameter to know how your property will retain value is the % of those who own vs rent. It’s very low in the more affluent neighborhoods with the best school districts. Our school band in our neighborhood won Grammys before, Grammy isn’t just for professional musicians but it’s a sign of the resources put into the school.
In low income neighborhoods, renters may feel it’s free but the government doesn’t fund those schools well like the ones in the good neighborhoods. America is by Zipcode. There are “many Americas”. There are schools where they have ten computers available to a student and those where 3 children share one. It’s Zipcode by Zipcode, town by town because many republicans will not allow their money to be sent to poorer school districts. Dems do not mind it going to the inner city schools with more minorities. Pre-school is also expensive depending on where you are.
When I hear my relatives say school is free here, I just shake my head. College is cheap for the poor. Others do not get income based scholarships so if you have triplets your school fees in college could be as high as $120k per year, the reason even the upper middle class have some student loans they are paying back because IRS uses pre tax income while after tax is what you actually take home and it is about 35% less. I don’t help them pray for newly weds to have quadruplets or triplets at all. The young ones here don’t even want more than one or two children. It’s expensive.
It's well
