    Sometimes I wonder why the IGBO tribe gets so much hate from many people. Wetin Igbo people really do some people sef???
    The Igbos are resourceful, resilient, hospitable, hardworking, sociable and contribute massively to the economic and social progress of our country. They see a business opportunity, jump on it, make money and enjoy their life jéjé.
    Their penchant for success, is admirable. It's hard not to love that.
    Are they perfect? No. But no tribe is!
    There's no superior or inferior tribe in my opinion. We all NEED each other to advance! 💯
    I am married to an Igbo woman, and I genuinely LOVE and CELEBRATE Ndi Igbo worldwide. Igbo Kwenu! 🙌

      The notion of people hating on Igbo to me only occur Online. most of my closest pals back in school and church are igbos.

      Presently, I live in an Igbo dominated area, two stays in my compound and we live peacefully, during house meetings no Yoruba language, we speak English or pidgin and I have never had any reason to be hating on them.

      I even look like Igbo...na to learn the language remain

      Mariam, I completely agree with you. I've never seen anyone in real life that says "I hate Igbo people!"... I'm always very surprised when I see these kinds of comments online.
      Most of us have many close friends that are Igbo. So it's really surprising.
      I think people have reservations about every tribe. I don't believe it necessarily translates to hatred.
      Well, that's just me tho

    Hope you are strengthened daily. You are always in my prayers.

    Yesterday, I posted my story as usual and some annons came under the post to say it was copied. It was not enough calling me aggressive visibility. My presence here does not dim your shine. The coast is large enough for everyone.

    You think and feel the story is too good to be written by me? You think some of your best writers are from planet moon and as a result Caren cannot write something so good ? You are laughable. 😂 These writers have publishing houses and P.A' s that vet their work before public consumption.

    Whoever that annon was, just to let you know I have been writing since my secondary school days. The back of my exercise books were always filled with stories, fantasies. Presently, I have manuscripts scattered here and there in my house.

    Even poems too, especially sonnet. I can draft a poem in a twinkling of an eye. E no dey hard me.

    Stories from my mother's hut is based on my Aunt and my household. Infact, if I am able to publish this finally, I will make sure a part of the money goes to her. She's a lonely lady . No husband , no children, No inheritance. Pls don't ask me yet what happened to Lota. It's a long story. The book will tell us what happened to him.

    Him: I have a meeting next weekend at xxxx, and I will like you to come with me. Send your details so I can send you money to buy something since you refused my Christmas gift.

    Her: Oga, go with your beautiful wife. She's even finer than me.

    Him: It’s you I want. I have told you before not to bring my wife into our conversations.

    Her: I am sorry, Sir. I saw your beautiful daughter last weekend. I guess she came for the holidays. I saw her several times with Uche, and I even saw her going into Uche’s house twice.

    Him: Which Uche?

    Her: The man in the next compound, the one who lost his mother-in-law. It seems his family isn’t back from the burial yet.

    Guys now that tomatoes, pepper, shombo and tatashe are out...Take advantage and buy bulk or gather your friends and neighbours buy in bulk and share or if it's 1000 naira a day to buy.. Please do so....

    If you have a freezer, store them in your freezer so it can last for longer because soon rainy season will be upon us and cost will go off the roof...

    Either you freeze them whole or you blend, steam them and store in ziplock or plastic containers...
