    Then in university...dad gave me 30k monthly.

  10. From #100 to #200 in the early 90s to mid-90s. For each of us, my cousins and I. It was crazy that between being in primary 5/6 and not being able to finish spending #1, to finishing #100 in our form one, inflation hits home.

  16. 2000 naira. I remember when my pocket money was stolen from my cupboard. I was given 2000, and I just removed 100 naira remaining 1900.
    I came back from night class to find my cupboard open. I cried and cried and crewed😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.
    It was never found.

  18. Who dash monkey banana? Money that wasn't enough to feed na for pocket e go de. Even d ones visitors or strangers dash us ends up in mumsy's purse talk more of our pockets.
    No body send us then. It's even in higher secondary that we were able to work for money n will be allowed to keep it. Mumsy na mummy general

  25. Well, it’s been long, 1980, class 1, my pocket money was N20 till mid tern break. School fees was N50 per term.i was in boarding house throughout my secondary school.The story is different now

    In primary school it as between N1 - N5. Secondary school, depends on if I take food to school.
    University, after school fees, nothing much o. That period was tough for my family. Therefore, I sold all sorts to feed in school. Thank God for my room mate & friends.
