Diddy's employee, Brendan Paul the dru*g mule took the stand on week 6...
Brendan started working for Diddy at the end of 2022.
He was a 23-year-old scholar, athlete, an overall smart dude.
Someone had reached out to him that Diddy was looking for an assistant.
The rule of the job was spelt out - 'you won't have a life, if you have a girlfriend you'll never see her again
Diddy will be everything to you'.
Notwithstanding, he agreed and took a 20-min interview at Diddy's house. Some days later he got hired.
His job included organizing suitcases and packing dr∆gs ranging from Coke to Xanax for Diddy.
He worked 80-100 hours a week, 4-6 days a week, made $75k a year (later increased to $100k, joined Diddy on trips around the world, lodged in lavish Airbnb. All this at 23, that's a flex).
During his testimony, they showed a photo of a big, luxury bathroom in the courtroom, adjacent to Diddy's room.
Brendan said it was called 'her bathroom'.
You know, with Diddy everything gets a nickname. Off the grid, f#¢k it Friday, frkoff...
'Her bathroom' had an in-built closet containing about a thousand bottles of baby oil and several bottles of A'stro'glide.
Part of Brendan's duties was to stock the supplies there, as well as wherever he went with his boss.
He would do dr∆gs like Adderall and cocaine to stay awake during long working hours.
He said before the job he only did w€€d.
Prosecution: What would you have to do?
Brendan: Make sure he was happy.
(I'm sure the prosecution didn't like the answer, they wanted to hear he forced me to blahblahblah).
He said he'd been fired 3 times.
One time he didn't pack Diddy's fanny pack while he was going for a walk and he sacked him.
Diddy's Chief of staff 'K.K' said she'll fix it. She advised him to lay low for a while.
And true to her words, weeks later, he was back to working with Diddy like nothing happened (Mehn, that's some power move. Dispose someone over the slightest thing and don't even remember that you fired them).
Mind you, this K.K. woman ran stuff in Diddy's enterprise.
Her name has come up in different testimonies.
Prosecution: Have you ever seen him do dr∆g?
Brendan: Yes. Once a month (I donbilivit).
He would text the dr∆g dealers saying it was for him or he'd buy them under different names.
Apart from 'One Stop' that we know, one of the dealers was a woman called 'baby girl'.
Prosecution: Ever taken dr∆gs with Diddy?
Brendan: Yes, one time at a Coachella after-party, he said try this (ket@mine) and see if it's good.
I took it and felt euphoric.
He said he did it to prove his loyalty to Diddy.
GROUP CHAT
K.K would send employees messages notifying them of Diddy's 'Wild kings Night' (same as fr€ak 0ff, KK renamed it) and assign them duties.
She'd be like, "Diddy is ready for a wild kings night. It's gonna be at the London hotel, Jane Doe is flying into town, 3 men are coming, we're gonna need 2 thousand bottles of baby oil by noon. Hope everybody is on board? Else, your fired."
On those days they didn't have to work much because Diddy would be 'busy' indoors.
As opposed to what Jane Doe said, Brendan said she enjoyed the wild king nights and never wanted to leave!
He'd set up the hotels with lights, candles, liquor, oil and lube, and clean up afterwards with sanitary gloves.
When asked why the gloves, he said for sanitary reasons.
(Should've mentioned what he was cleaning up that was so bad, to juice up the testimony).
Since they often paid hotels for damages, the cleaning routine was to ensure they don't incur more fines.
March 2024 was Brendan's last day of work.
He was with Diddy and K.K when he was arrested in Miami, he had coke on him.
Surprisingly, Diddy didn't tell him to carry it, he didn't even know he had it in his pocket.
He hasn't communicated with Diddy ever since.
BRENDAN'S CROSS-EXAMINATION
Defence: You were excited to work for Mr Combs?
Brendan: Yes, true
Defense: You were 23 years old making $75k a year, that was a great opportunity given to you, right?
Brendan: True
Defense: Mr Combs didn't even know you had the coke during your arrest, true?
Brendan: True
Defense: The size was just .7 grams, that's something light right?
Brendan: True
Defense: For personal use right?
Brendan: Yes
Defense: K.K never told you to carry dr∆gs?
Brendan: No, it was an accident
Defense: You only saw Diddy do dr∆gs like once a month, right?
Brendan: True
Defense: You're not a dr∆g mule
Brendan: I was never a dr∆g mule
Defense: What is a dr∆g mule?
Brendan: I think it's someone that carries kilos of dr∆gs across state lines
Defense: That's not you, absolutely not.
(That was the defense trying to disprove the allegation that Diddy had a dr∆g mule)
To be honest, I don't think Brendan was what the witness the prosecution hoped for. He gave no jaw dropping details.
But see what a lady in the prosecution did towards the end of the session.
Prosecution: In the cross-examination, you said working for Diddy was a dream job, you were young and making so much money. You said you'd never seen him do anything criminal.
Brendon: True
Prosecution: Sir, what happened to you on the last day of your employment?
Brendon: I got arrested.
She ended it there.
Low key she made sense.
Like, Diddy is such an amazing person, gave you a fabulous career, but it landed you in jail for dr∆g possession.
You fought the dr∆g charges, now you're in a Federal Court trying to clear your name from being identified as a dr∆g mule.
You're subpoenaed to testify against a man with RICO charges.
And this whole mess is your idea of a great opportunity by an amazing person?
How nice.
