CAMOUFLAGE BANANA
My husband once bought a strange kind of banana that will be green from top to bottom whether or not is ripe. He called it a camouflage banana..
He said I didn't need to wrap it up to turn yellow because If it turns yellow, that mean it was already bad. For me, I like to wrap up bananas so it ripen on time.
I didn’t believe him because I have never really seen anything like it. I told him I’d wrap it up and wait for the back to turn yellow.
He just shrugged and said, "Okay, go ahead.” So I did. I wrapped it neatly and kept it aside, waiting for my perfect yellow banana moment.
Three days later, I proudly went to check it. To my shock, the banana had turned yellow and mushy; completely rotten. I just stood there staring at it, speechless.
I was hoping My husband would laugh it off when I tell him about the end situation of the banana but My husband didn’t laugh when I told him, instead it degenerated into a heated argument on how I never listen when he talks to me..
I threw the banana away quietly. For three days we barely spoke. I felt terrible because my hubby hardly takes offence.

From the way you write, even though you say you are notorious for JESUS, it is obvious that you are very very stubborn and will only do things your way...you even look stubborn.....
On Saturday i bought red , yellow and green carrots and as i write this i am still looking at it and wondering it is colored cos it is not yet ripe...LOL..My hubby say it same thing just different colors but i will decide or not what to do with it...Bought it out of curiosity though...LOL

WOMAN, NOR DO PASS YA SEF!
Nowadays where reliable men are hard to find and the cost of living is high, I will tell WOMEN this:
Birth the number of children that ONLY YOU can take care of even if you marry Dangote.
If it is only ONE CHILD that you can take of by yourself, so be it.
Guide your loins with a family planning method if your husband refuses to use a condom or you cannot use a female condom because you enjoy skin to skin.
"Pikin no come?"
"Hen-hen na! Pikin nor come. Wetin?"
Don't let your husband pressure you into having more children than you can care for or that your health can accommodate.
All dis Pikin Mata, na woman dey sofaram pass!
Discuss the number of children that you want to have with your boyfriend or fiancé before you marry him. Let him know your fears.
Do not be cajoled into decisions that will not favour you in marriage.
Do not compare yourself to your parents. Their time has passed. Their economy is not the same as today's economy.
There was not social media or rampant kídnapping in their time. You must have time to check on each child's activities.
Do not compare yourself to your siblings or friends or anybody. If they like, they can have ten children. You are not them and they are not you.
Birthing and raising children is a personal matter. Even your husband cannot force you to have more than the number of children that you want to have.
You have a right over your body!!!
Rxxpẹ́ in marriage is a crime in Nigeria.
Family Planning is your right in Nigeria.
Choosing the number of children that you can birth is your right in Nigeria.
Naturally and societally, marriage favours men more than women.
It is clearly free labour and copulation for men.
If you are truly blessed, you will marry your financier, protector, adviser, gist partner, spiritual guide, caregiver, leader, lover, soul mate and life partner.
If what you ordered for is not what you got, read this post very well.
Contingencies such as Abandonment, Divorce, Death and Sickness, can happen.
What are your plans for these contingencies if they happen?
"God forbid," nor dey pay bills o!
It is easier for truly blessed couples to plan for contingencies in terms of insurance, wills, next of kin, etc. because communication and comprehension reign in their union.
If you are managing your marriage, you better close ya punani.
If you are managing ya marriage, at least manage it with peace of mind.
Don't be stressed out with bills especially when your husband refuses to support you financially with your children.
So, as you are doing missionary, doggy, riding the bicycle, touch your toes, cowgirl and other chuku-chuku bedmantics, make ona dey get sense.
Otherwise, body go tell you.

10 NON-SxxXUAL ADVICE YOU SHOULD KNOW
Don't subscribe to other people's definition of "fun".
1. Fun doesn't have to mean drinking, partying, and socializing. Fun can be a night alone, getting lost in a book, a deep conversation, a walk, creating art, playing music, or doing your work. Fun is yours; You define it.
Normalize saying "No" without needing to over-explain yourself.
2. If someone is offended by your boundaries, that's their problem. The best weight you'll ever lose is the weight of other people's opinions of you.
3. The age of 15-30 is the golden era of your life.
4. You make friends, lose them too. You make mistakes, correct them too. You fall, you fail, you learn, you realize, you hit reality, you fall in love, and you get hurt too. You lose yourself and eventually you become stronger.
99% of the harm is caused in your head, by you and your thoughts. 1% of the harm is caused by the reality of what actually happens and the outcome.
5. Improve your mental diet.
Everything changes when you realise your diet isn't just what you eat. It's what you watch, what you read, who you follow and who you spend your time with. If your goals is to have a healthier mind, start by removing the junk food from your diet.
6. Do not spend so much time trying to be more physically attractive in order to just impress your crush rather than making yourself mentally attractive. Educate yourself, address your recurring toxic thoughts, deal with your insecurities and learn to be happy on your own.
7. Most of the time, the problem is not the problem. The way you think about the problem is. You can fix most of your problems just by fixing your thoughts.
8. Before you get married, discuss bills, parenting styles, what belief will be installed in your children, childhood traumas, sexual expectations, financial expectations, family health history, dream home, career, and education, and whatever else come to mind.
9. Love is not enough.
10 Heal before having children so your children don't have to heal from having you as a parent.
You lose yourself and eventually you become stronger. Remember! These are the best years of your life. You should understand the difference between enjoying it and ruining it.

People don't fall out of love...they fall out of pretending
ReplyDeleteYesterday was my husband’s birthday and I planned a surprise birthday party for him.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a very loving and giving person to everyone around him, not just me so I wanted to do something special for him even though he doesn’t like surprises😊
So yesterday after church service, the plan was to go to his parent’s house so that the event planner could set up and decorate our house which was the venue for his party. This man decided he wanted to go home and chill. Ha! 🤣. I quickly texted his mom to call him and insist but he told her he wanted to chill with me and the kids at home and then take us to dinner later in the evening. Imagine the birthday man still planning to treat us. That’s my husband for you. Always giving. Always doing. I had to think fast.
I quickly texted the event planner to hold on and not start until I get home. Thankfully she hadn’t gotten to the house.
When we got home I tried all I could to get this man to go out, it didn’t work.
I asked my daughter to tell her daddy to take her to go get ice cream. For where? He no move 😩
So I suggested we took a shower together, made mad love to him, hoping it would knock him out, e no work o 🤣
Meanwhile the vendors were parked on our street waiting for the go ahead before they can pull up and start decorating.
See me panicking. He was like baby you’re acting nervous, is everything okay? 😩
I said devil you’re a liar. My baby’s surprise party must hold.
My best friend was like you better get on your knees and sing to that microphone, my people that was how I gave him the sloppiest song ever, he was just saying do you want to kill me? 😝😂. How can? Today is your birthday o, I need you alive.
He finally slept off! 💃💃💃
Come and see how everybody was rushing to set up. I just told the sound guys not to make any noise so that he wouldn’t wake up.
Everything was set and guest had arrived.
After his nap, I forced him to dress up and come downstairs. He was pleasantly surprised 😁 he never expected it 😂
Our family and friends all came out for him. He was beaming. We had such a gooooooood time!
When members of his staff gifted him, they were like Boss, this is a gift from us to you, don’t pay us back. Everybody cracked up 😆. That’s my man for you, he will add it back to their salary 🤦🏾♀️
I’m so happy I was able to pull this off successfully.
Awwwwww 🥰
DeleteCheers 🥂 to your hubby's new year 🎊🎉

WE KEEP MOVING!!
See me beaming with smiles
DeleteMay God keep him and keep you too for him and may your love keep growing strong.
I pray we too get to that level financially, where I can pull off a surprise birthday for my hubby. He too is very selfless and kind. Takes very good care of the family and forgets himself. I buy clothes and undies for him most times cos he doesn't remember to buy for himself.
Ask me why I'm smiling sheepishly ☺️☺️☺️

ReplyDeleteThrow more than one for me o 😊🍏🍏
DeletePst Chris Oyakilomhe said to his people, ''Pray to live above the economy''
ReplyDeleteI quite agree with him on that. Praying for Nigeria to work is a huge waste of time. When you see a country that will work, you'll know. Nigeria can never work and will never work not today, tomorrow or in the future. It's not a statement of hate but of a reality. Nigeria is structured by the British empire not to ever worked.
I would rather pray to God to bless me to rise above the economy of Nigeria so I can be able to afford my needs even in a harsh economic policies and strangulation.
In all, God has been faithful and a promise keeper. I'm a son of God's benevolence. Save the congratulations, I'll be needing it.
We're going global.
© TEEJAY
Congratulations Teejay 👏👏
DeleteI'm so happy seeing you testify to the glory of God.
More open doors in Jesus name 🙏
He should have told them to work harder to live above the economy. Everything no be prayer
DeleteMmmh, Teejay, are you sure the British structured Nigeria never ro work? The British colonised more than half of the world, and some of its former colonies have economies that are far more better than the British economy itself...so please sing me another song...your leaders are corrupt...infact the average Nigerian is a fraud! So how would their country work? Always blaming colonial masters meanwhile the country is worse off than when it was colonised!
DeleteCongratulations Teejay, God is ever faithful 🎉🎉
DeleteHello beautiful people 😍
ReplyDeleteIHN today is packed with lots of wisdom... I like..
Saving it for later 😍😍😍
Meanwhile, yesterday, I went to a very popular trade fair that happened in Ibadan during the weekend 💕
That was my first time of ever visiting one and I must confess, it is a very nice place to be..
As a business owner, I learnt a lot and hopefully someday, I will be a part it
Have a wonderful day 💗
I also pray to be able to showcase at shows and fairs soon. Trade fairs are very good for product visibility and sales too. What's the name of the one you visited?
DeleteI've forgotten what I wanted to type.
ReplyDelete@Notorious for Jesus, native banana doesnt turn yellow when ripe. And it's the sweetest kind.
I've been watching Oputa panel videos, interviews of ex-service men etc. I've also been watching documentaries of popular criminals in Nigeria - as well as interviews of some of their victims, plus interviews of ex-prisoners. It's been a very interesting ride.
ReplyDeleteWho else enjoyed House of David? I'll watch episode 8 of season 2 today. Love love love it!!!!!
Awwww 💕 Sdk, happy shopping😀 Enjoy yourself dear, you deserve the treat 🤗
ReplyDeleteGod bless your thoughtful hubby 👏
Yesterday on our way from church, I saw the dad of my son's former classmate talking to himself. The way he was gestulating and talking, looking unkempt, I say make e no be say this man don think go far o. Wahala no too much like this? 😩 As we passed him, my son shouted Daddy so so so. This man that used to smile broadly just nodded. We greeted him and I asked of the family. He nodded fine again. I looked at him and told him all will be well 🤗 He nodded and went his way.
Abeg, let us learn to share our burdens and not carry it alone heavily. Many people are passing through difficult times and it is taking away their mind.
Please, our mental health is too important to lose 🙏
Have a blessed week beautiful people 😍
My dear, what people are passing through this day, hmmm all we need is God's intervention.
DeleteIt's well.. m
You're right Big Mama, it is well dearie 🤗
DeletePeople are going through a lot
DeleteIt's well with him
It is well with him.
DeleteAlot is happening presently.
How are you my Adunniade.
Stella, this your memo sweet me. From the “freestyle stew” to the marriage and baby talk, everything entered well.
ReplyDeleteTruly, marrying sense is better than marrying stress, and as for children, abeg, one well-catered-for pikin is better than a football team you can’t manage.
I cooked my usual rice and stew. Nothing special just steam my tomatoes, pepper, shombo and onions together then blend. Comes out great.
ReplyDeleteNice day ❣️
Good afternoon everyone 😊
ReplyDeleteTrust the day is progressing well 🙏
Na sun dey rush us here 😁
Welcome IHN....🤗
NFJ. Just when I was about typing that "wow. Your husband is an angel. He didn't even mind. " Then I read the remaining.. lol.

Good afternoon BVs.
ReplyDeleteI am an educator and would like to turn events I have done in the school into videos. Like, turn pictures to videos with music playing in the background or/and have music playing in the background of videos I made.
Please, what app can I download to do this (and more)?
Thank you for your anticipated responses.
Inshot app
DeleteVery good
Download Inshot or Capcut. I prefer Inshot bcos the logo can be removed from the video.
DeleteGood afternoon beautiful people.
ReplyDeleteWhy does okro soup taste better the next day? Nawa.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I've noticed is that foods you don't put much effort in making comes out better than the ones you break your head over.
Not just okro o Castle, ogbono takes the lead for me 😊
DeleteInfact, I don't eat ogbono soup until the next day.
I prepared only okro yesterday and I did not really enjoyed it the way I did today..
Delete😅😅 you're right about okro soup.

Weird facts:
ReplyDeleteIn Ancient Greece, throwing an apple to a woman was considered a marriage proposal.
Omo this one go make sense if my people can adopt this style of proposal, imagine one selecting the best fruit to propose with 😂
Though I used coconut when I went to propose to my wife,I remember selecting the best coconut at Asaba market that year.. and getting Best cream and ,Lord gin for my FIL. Still remains one of my happiest day till date.
That must be for knocking of door, where is your wife from?
DeleteHi guys!
ReplyDeleteNice weird facts!
After watching this movie I just want to rant. Tomorrow I’ll talk about it inside IHN and I beg you Stella post Wetin I write today and tomorrow
ReplyDeleteBest job is onsite, followed by hybrid then remote.
ReplyDeleteFor your mental well-being choose ye not a fully remote job, it EATS you gradually without your knowing it.
There are about 20 things working amongst humans does that a Remote environment cannot, do not become a social misfit being isolated and earning less? Naaa.
Stella...na AI coffee maker? 🤔🙃
Enjoy the engagement. It is worth it.
Notorious...you seem to enjoy stressing your DH. You don't know everything, men cherish 🍌 banana and bottle of roasted groundnuts like kilode? Stop denying him little pleasures, hope you bought another one.
Marry a calm man of you're hot, that way temperament will rhyme. Hot temper versus hot temper na electric ⚡💡 wire.
Sign out... it's a terrible situation the world rotates in. You gotta adjust.

If you have a demanding client or one who isn't pleased with whatever effort you put into the work, they'll drain shege out of one's life.

That your friends couldn't assist you in your time of need does not make them "bad friends", they could be passing through one or two at their end, hand dey touch everybody in this bulabai
ReplyDeleteStella enjoy you cappuccino maker.
ReplyDeleteOne day, I will taste that cappuccino 😁.
Yesterday, I cooked white rice, I also made beef stew that will last a few days.
Ingredients:
Beef
Tomatoes (very red)
Rodo pepper (scotch bonnet)(very red)
Tatashe pepper (bell pepper) (very red )
Onions
Vegetable oil
Rice
Vegetable oil
Thyme
Curry
Ginger
Garlic
Seasoning cubes
Little salt
Nothing much in the preparation,
I cooked my beef till soft, then fried it.
I blended tomatoes, rodo and tatashe with onions.
Parboiled the paste till water was dried.
I heat the vegetable oil, add the cut onions, pour in the paste and stir fry for 10 minutes.
Add the meat stock and add curry, thyme, blended ginger and garlic powder.
Taste for salt and seasoning and add if needed.
Pour in the fried beef and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes or till you get your desired thickness.
Turn off the heat.
For the rice, I love parboiling my rice to remove excess starch.
I parboiled my rice for 5 minutes, sieve out the water, put on fire again and add salt. Boil for 20 minutes. Drain out excess water if there is any, though I normally measure the water that it dries up with the rice ready..
Sunny afternoon everyone
