''Who must have done that?'' I asked. She told me whoever took her dog must have unalifed it just to spite her. She sounded so angry and pained. I told her it could be that the person stole the dog in order to get the babies it will born and after then, release it. She insisted the dog can't be alive without running back home. I tried to encourage her to be hopeful that the dog is still alive but she wouldn't have that.
Who unalifes and eats a pregnant dog? Is that even a nice thing to do? I was still speaking when she said, if at the end of this week and the dog isn't back, she know what to do. Being Inquisitive, I asked, what will you do? Just what I thought in mind, she told me she'll travel to her place and whoever stole her dog will be exposed. I said to her tell me more about it.
She began the narrative on how couple of years ago a young lady whose parent's shop is close to hers stole the clothes she had washed and hung on the rope. She shouted for days about it, no one agreed to have done that.
She traveled to her hometown and did some spiritual stuff and was assured by the baba that the person who stole the clothes which were over eight in numbers have been summoned spiritually. She'll put on one of the clothes and will be identified and exposed.
Exactly as it was said, the lady who had stole those clothes came to their shop which was next to this woman's shop that owned the clothes putting on one of the stolen clothes. This woman saw it and approached her calmly not too sure but suspected it to be hers. She politely asked her how she came about the cloth she's putting on, for it's one among the clothes she has been looking for.

The lady shouted on top of her voice claiming ownership of it, asking her if a cloth is now produced just one in the whole of the country.
The woman said she walked away and called the baba on phone and told him about it. The baba told her not to worry that she'll put on another one that will eventually settle it all. Again as said, this lady put on another of the stolen clothes to the shop. At this point, she(owner) raised alarm and held the lady.

Police was invited and when they went to this lady's house, they found all the stolen clothes intact. The father pleaded and asked for settlement to pay for all the clothes but the woman refused. She said she doesn't need the clothes anymore or the money. All she want is for the police to bring the lady to the shop with the clothes let everyone sees with their eyes and afterward, she can then keep it. She wanted her to be disgraced.
At that point, the lady knelt down began to beg her that it was the handiwork of the devil. People in the compound pleaded to her not to push it further. After much back and forth, the police persuaded her to pursue settlement with them. She left without taking the clothes and money.

How this lady wore those clothes for months at home and going to church without putting them on to the shop only to do so when this woman went spiritual shows that the spiritual truly controls the physical.
I didn't doubt her story for I have witnessed how a man from my town spiritually summoned a boy that was serving him and ran away with his money to Malaysia. How the absconded boy found himself in Nigeria arrested by his master was beyond him and everyone. When asked what brought him to Nigeria few months he absconded, he just couldn't answer what brought him back.
I think I will say spiritual invocation is real and powerful when done by sorcerers.
By next week, I'll follow up on the missing dog story if there's any update and share with us.

That dog may already be dead. Someone may have included dog meat in his delicacies for Christmas. And yes, old fashioned jazz works.
ReplyDeleteWe must remember a number of years ago during Jonathan's time in office when a contingent made up of police and DSS officers went to a locality in Nasarawa state to arrest a prominent Eggon Chief, the leader of the Ombatse cult. I think they called him Baba Alakiyo. No one knows what happened but only two out of 98 officers returned alive. The two surviving officers trekked on their feet stark naked with their uniforms on their head and walked several kilometres to the state government house. It was when they got there that they regained their sanity. That incident made national news then.
The security agencies remained hesitant to go after him again after that incident. When Baba Alakiyo was interviewed, he pointedly said it was his gods who killed the policemen and DSS officers.
As much as it is easy to wave things like these off, it will be foolhardy not to believe that a spiritual underlining is behind certain things. That single incident is the deadliest in the history of the Nigerian armed forces.
Prominent politicians and officers of the Nigerian armed forces were later rumoured to be visiting the chief clandestinely in pursuit of powers and protection.
I remember that incidence vividly as if it was yesterday.

DeleteThey were ambushed due to an insider revealing the plan
Anon 14:22. How do you ambush a formation of 100 DSS officers and policemen and only but 2 survived? And no assailant was shot dead?
DeleteI didn't want to really go into details because the legend regarding that incident are so outlandish. One has it that the Baba Alakiyo reportedly went to Aso Rock and no one knows how he got there. I am not comfortable narrating these things because they go against my inclinations.
Any Eggon can narrate these better.
@Doge you ambush them in the forest when they’re still in cars driving. They don’t even know where the attack is coming from… that’s how
DeleteThings dey occur o😲😲
DeleteAnon. 16:15. Then that's a serious indictment on the quality of training Nigeria makes available to its armed forces. A convoy of a hundred men in trucks can't exactly be overcome easily except with fighter jets bombing from above.
DeleteIt was said that the officers who went to arrest the man went there drinking along the way and according to Eggon legend, alcohol of any sort was prohibited in that area and the deities of the place took serious umbrage at the invading officers.
The settlement they went to invade was made up of less than 26 houses. Not a large community. A house of assembly member from that place pointedly mentioned that the governor at that time was a member of the Ombatse sect and he knew what was going to happen if that place was invaded.
I don't really want to place much currency on these tales but I know for a fact that overcoming a convoy of a hundred armed men isn't a walk in the park.
It is even more disturbing that the police and the DSS refused going there to retrieve the bodies of their men. The bodies were gathered and burnt up.
A judicial inquiry set up to investigate the matter, refused to indict. The federal and state government all backed off. The few bodies recovered showed no signs of traumatic injuries from gunshots. Till date, there is no documented government response to that incident.
This is information readily available on line.
What I would say is that jazz is real but it can't supersedes that of God.
ReplyDeleteIndeed the spiritual controls the physical. But what if the dog has been hit by a vehicle in an unknown location? 🤷🏻. She will now waste transportation fare and travel for nothing.
ReplyDeleteI pray she finds the dog if it's still alive
I just pity the poor dog, 😔.
ReplyDeleteOn top dog?
ReplyDeleteSo she will waste money just to catch a dog thief?
SMH
Just respect what she enjoys
DeleteI find it hard to believe the dog is still alive.
ReplyDeleteIt puzzles me how individuals can bring themselves to take something that doesn't belong to them. Personally, I wouldn't dare take what isn't mine, as my conscience would constantly trouble me, making it difficult for me to pray to God.
I no fit dey beg God con still dey beg human being Join. Never! I prefer to avoid situations that may lead to undesirable circumstances.
Don't mind Nigerians@14:22. @ post... There's a psychological phenomenon that explains what the woman did (self-sabotage/factitious disorder). Not everything is 'jazz'.
ReplyDeleteBtw, why is she the only person being stolen from??
But people wicked o!
ReplyDeletePregnant Dog!
Hian
Wickedness in highest places
ReplyDeletePlease help me collect the baba number....
