Hello iya Boys
Unless one is not intentional, parenting (fatherhood and motherhood) will test the elasticity of your responsibility, endurance, discipline and leadership. For me, I find that I have to grow with my child. Learn, relearn, unlearn, everyday. It’s a lot and nothing but the experience itself prepares you for it.
ReplyDeleteGod help all good and striving parents out there 🙏
@Rhod3s, I agree with the core of this reflection. Parenting is not a static role; it is a continuous stress test of character, values, and self-mastery. Without intention, it exposes gaps in patience, consistency, emotional regulation, and leadership very quickly. The idea of growing with the child is particularly sound—effective parenting demands adaptability. What worked yesterday may fail tomorrow, and the willingness to learn, unlearn, and relearn is what separates conscious parenting from reactive parenting.
DeleteThat said, it is also important to recognise that experience alone is not sufficient if it is not paired with reflection. Many people repeat patterns daily without growth. Parenting refines those who are deliberate about self-examination and correction. In that sense, it is both a responsibility and a mirror. It does not just raise children; it reveals adults.
I agree with you at RHOD3S.
DeleteE no easy at all
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy at all. It takes everything from you, EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeleteBut in all, we thank God for the privilege. We'll continue to do our best with God on our side. I pray that God continues to strengthen us all and all our labour and sacrifices will not be in vain.
Parenting is not for the faint hearted. I thank God for his blessings.
