Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Bolaji Abdullahi, says former President Goodluck Jonathan sacked him in March 2014 because he refused to publicly attack his political mentor, Bukola Saraki, after Saraki defected from the PDP to APC.
Abdullahi, who was the only Kwara representative in Jonathan’s cabinet, revealed that during Jonathan’s campaign visit to Kwara, party leaders expected him to “abuse Saraki” on stage to prove loyalty but He declined, saying he couldn’t betray the man who built his political career.

Mr Loyalty has left the builder of his career and ported to ADC to butter his political bread.
