Trader Settles Apprentice With ₦30 Million And A Shop In Onitsha

A trader publicly settled his loyal apprentice, Chukwu Sunday, after years of dedicated service. The boss handed over a cheque of ₦30 million in the market. He also gave Chukwu Sunday his own shop on the premises to kick off his independent business.

The handover came with warm words of endorsement. The oga told customers openly: ''this young man is now free to do business, and your money is safe with him''.

  1. Congratulations to him. The richest guy in my village was settled hugely like this when he was nwa boy in Onitsha. If you see how wealthy he has become now and the good things he does for the entire village, not just our community o.

  8. They kind of look alike.

That should not be the face of someone who just got 30m.

    1. How many people who has gotten 30m do you know? And what's with 'they look alike'? Must you find a loophole to discredit people. That boy is related to my husband, he diligently served his Oga and was never involved in any shady business, He was instrumental to the growth and expansion of his Oga's business. This is the one that made it to the blogs. men settle boys with 50m etc in Onitsha and Aba on a regular. rejoice with those who rejoice says the Holy Book

  10. The best kind of boss is one who makes you a boss. Kudos to the oga for his incredible act of kindness. Congratulations to Mr Sunday.
May this inspire more success stories. My only fear is that, sometimes when these things are posted online, it doesn't end well.

Sometimes who show you the way fit send men to mount you on the way. Other times fellow apprentices who didn't get paid hugely by their own ogas become jealous and turn around and do anyhow to the one whose payment is huge. May this not be your portion, Mr Chukwu Sunday. Best of luck ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

    1. Apprentices do not sleep on the shop floor or trek. They live with their Oga and are driven to the market in the morning in a car or bus used for Oga's business.

The food they eat is usually cooked at home by Oga's wife or a cook and delivered to them in the shop.

Apprentices are not allowed to eat at restaurants so they won't form bad habits and live recklessly.

Apprenticeship among Igbo people comes with a lot of discipline. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
