The EFCC's Kano Zonal Directorate picked her up because of a viral video on social media. In the video, she was seen using naira notes to wipe mucus from her nose.
This act is seen as abusing or mutilating the Nigerian currency.
The EFCC said they moved fast after the video spread online.
They traced her, arrested her, and took her in for questioning.
She is being held at the commission's facility in Kano while they continue their investigation.
