Media personality Toke Makinwa says she no longer pays tithes to churches because “all the churches I know are rich,” explaining she now prefers to give directly to people in need,especially by paying hospital bills.

As for me, I can never stop paying my tithe to the church as INSTRUCTED RY GOD
Will still support the poorer and needy as best as I can monthly too .

By the way. When next you go to church, bring your seat from your house, seat outside, cos you shouldn't use the ACs and fans. And don't use the rest room too, etc
My dear, that she stopped paying tithe doesn't mean she stopped giving offering. Her reasons are valid. There are churches I drop my tithe at and there are ones I give #500. Those poor developing churches with hungry looking pastors are the ones I give my tithe, not this latest SUV- designer wristwatch- wearing actors.

DeleteChurch probably let her down one way or the other so she decided to do it the way I myself term the best way. Give those tithes and seeds sowing to the actual people in need of it.

ReplyDelete@HF Bedding.. Please in your spare time, take your Bible and read Dueteronomy 26.. It is clearly written on who you should pay your tithe to. I don't know why we have allowed the pastors to only sell the book of malachi as regards tithing. We all should learn to read our Bibles ourselves to understand.. Shalom.
