ReplyDeleteI think it's a Ghanaian drink made from Sorghum and Akamu(pap) water if I'm not mistaken.
It is called pito and taste like sweetened agbo

ReplyDeleteIs this not Pito? I used to follow my step mother to Lagos island market those days and she always bought very chilled Pito for me. Oh how i enjoyed this things and sucked on the nylon until one day...
ReplyDeleteWe were buying stuffs as usual and i was excited because we were approaching the Pito woman's stand, then we saw a big crowd and people hurling insults at the woman sitthing in the ground.
Turns out the Werey woman was buying her ice block from the mortuary on the island there and someone came there to expose her. JISSOOOSSS OOO
No wonder the Pito was always very cold and hit the spot.
That was the last time i drank that thing. Whenever i see Pito seller 's i look at them with side eyes 🤨
