In an interview with TVC Entertainment, he said he is intentional about the kind of on‑screen image he builds and does not want to be boxed into repetitive romantic roles.
He explained that excelling in kissing scenes could make producers repeatedly cast him in similar parts, limiting his growth as an actor.
“If I’m good at it, producers will likely give me the same role over and over again, and I don’t want to kiss half the girls in Nollywood,” he said.
