The EFCC has arrested former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, hours after his conviction and 75‑year prison sentence for fraud and money laundering involving ₦33.8 billion.

EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede confirmed that Mamman was picked up around 3:30 a.m. in Kaduna, alongside two people allegedly hiding him.
The residence where he was found is now under investigation.
Mamman served as Minister of Power from August 2019 to September 2021, appointed and later sacked by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
His conviction came in May 2026, when the Federal High Court sentenced him for large‑scale financial misappropriation during his time in office.
I trust EFCC. Dem go don climb fence like rabbit or dig hole through the roof.
ReplyDeleteBut wetin happen nau? The man no join APC????
Read. It doesn't kill. He wasn't just a card carrying member of APC but he had also picked up a form to contest the guber election.
DeletePeople like Okowa and Bello are aware their cases are ongoing. When it's time, the courts will decide.
This dispensation is has been better than the previous one with plural convictions for those aiding terrorists or engaging in corrupt practices and they need to keep it up. There has been no shielding of those involved or facing charges. I see Betta Edu shuttling between EFCC and giveaway. I don't think that will help her case.
This is very very funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
