Diane’s family went on TikTok Live and tore down the marriage, dropping heavy accusations and exposing private issues that had been hidden from the public. They made it clear they would not support the union and revealed troubling details about what had been happening behind the scenes.
Instead of Diane taking Victor’s Nigerian surname, Victor chose the surname of Diane’s late husband and started calling himself Victor Patterson. The family reacted with anger and said they felt deeply unsettled that a new husband had taken their late uncle’s name.
